How much more scratch resistant the whole thing with this film is now, I do not know. I do not want to go over my S5 with a knife to try this out, but I can imagine that the film can definitely put away everyday signs of wear well.

You get used to the slightly grainy display. After a few days you can handle it and it does not bother one so much. That's at least my experience. Sure - without it would be better, but I personally am glad that I have no fingerprints, and the display has no longer struggling with light reflections.
Nevertheless, I can understand that there are people who can not get used to the slightly different view. At this point, I recommend that you, the films simply tried it out. 6 are not the world and who seriously tired of fingerprints (or other contaminants) and light reflections has, can the whole quiet times give a chance.
