As mentioned I currently make a direct Verleich with the original 5 min. Shaper (have both side by side up).
here is my direct comparison:
+ Looks almost 100% exactly
+ As good as no difference from the original in a pub noticeable (except the foam pad - see
Explanation below)
+ By EUR 30, - cheaper than the original !!!
+ Only a long adjustment pin / locking pin (there are the original two short), thus
faster exchange of levels possible
- The holes for the locking pin I had to scratch out (free of paint), otherwise it would work
could not be plugged in!
- The rollers are not quite as good as the original (not you realize during a workout
really and even in direct comparison)
- No training plan (the original case - by John Carter)
- No eating plan (the original here)
- The foam pads are much thinner and therefore harder or the foam is under load quickly and you can feel the iron days on which they are put off !!! This can be felt in both the
Laying on of arms, as well as some on their knees! I find that with regular use, the
softer / more upholstered foam cushion the original 5 min. Shapers are much better and the arms and knees will thank it a safe ;-)
- There is the possibility of 3 resistance bands around EUR 20 in stock, - to retrofit,
This is not possible due to lack of brackets (I find, however, that one this
not needed and only after very very very very long time training)
In the large and whole find the Ultra Sport 150 a very good copy of the original (probably the best copy), but the only real difference is in my opinion the worse not enough padded foam cushions !!! The rest of the minuses is really manageable, since this device also by EUR 30, - costs less than the original 5 min. Shaper to currently EUR 99, - on Amazon.
Next time, I would still buy the original, because it's something processed hochwärtiger (foam pad / Smooth-) and a health plan from John Carter included (I think unfortunately not download from the Internet)
But as I now am too lazy to disassemble again and to bring to the post office, I then to order the originals, then wait again for the delivery, unpacking and re-assemble, ... I keep it despite tougher foam pad!
Addendum on 14/01/2015:
After daily use, a brief supplement:
So, the device has indeed strengthened the muscles and improves the upper abs, but without a change in diet will believe I will not be possible to convert the fat on the lower abdomen in a six-pack.
Nevertheless, I must say that the 5 min. Shaper the perfect introduction for a small daily workout for me!
I mitlerweile my training program slightly expanded and do now zusätlich for 5 min. Shaper always a few pushups or floor stomach exercises to (different every day).
Furthermore, I try to pay attention to much more consistently my diet even since the beginning of the training, since otherwise would be the daily training unnecessary ;-)
Conclusion: Perfect for active day to do something for me as an introduction for my body, in the long term a great addition to the training.
Addendum 02.25.2015:
I have now been in contact with Amazon, because the padding have become so bad in the elbow, that exercise has become almost unbearable! This foam cushions are of soft day and make the training very unpleasant day. I was now a part of the purchase amount refunded, so I buy new foam cushions, but nowhere do I find what? I have already searched Amazon, EBay, Google, ...., unfortunately without success. I do not know where I can get new foam pad.
