My husband (technically very gifted) has 2 5 hours setup time required. But this simply because the kitchen is delivered very solid in many parts. Practical test after assembly:
Super! the doors rest on closing a right, but are nevertheless also of young children well to open. At the upper compartments for 2 years is just zoom (less grown must stand on tiptoes) - but everything works well. The plastic shell of the pool (this is quite small, about DIN A 5 degree) can be removed, so that sometimes water can be filled in. Although I can not say how the paint can withstand the seen for a long time ... The paint itself makes a very robust impression - I do not think that scratch will quickly form. The big kids (about 6, 7 years), for which the worktop at some point is likely to be too low, can fine on the surface of the refrigerator, "work", because it is (as in the picture visible) higher than the rest. Oven and door under the sink can be opened toward the side. So nothing can break off if a child climbs time on it. The kitchen offers plenty of compartments and storage space, so that evening, a large part of the toy simply there can disappear into it and the kitchen is also a small Ordnungshelfer. I see them more as a real piece of furniture with game function - not "only" as a pure toy. Therefore, you also need some space to put them.
Criticisms:
If you want to find something to complain about, you can do that safely with this product. For example, are only slightly plugged the hobs. Younger children have out at once and drag them through the area. This can be resolved quickly but safely even by means of adhesive. The buttons make clicking noises when rotating, electrically is here but nothing (ie no leuchtenen plates or noises of microwave or the like), what the game fun but not the least bit affected.
So, now we come but to the actual topic - why there was of me ... This 2 star deduction kitchen stinks so so disgusting that I feel already as insolence, that such a thing is allowed on the market! From some reviews here that was to take on, but so hard I did not imagined. Since I am very keen on safe toys, I ask before buying a regular basis about the products. So also in this cuisine. The dealer answered me very friendly, that it was in color to low-pollutant paints that were permitted on the European market ... So now I calm my conscience in the hope that this is true. We have housed the kitchen overnight in a closet. This was no longer walked on tomorrow of me today. I really can only hope that the flies with the time, because as this kitchen is no way into the nursery! An hour in the room with the kitchen and I get headaches. It may be that I react more sensitive than many other people. However, I wonder - just in children's toys - over and over again: Does it have to be? There are alternatives but ... but we have a choice. Had the kids not to keep the kitchen so happy - I would have probably sent back. Now it remains to be seen whether the whole thing vanishes. This massive deterioration is worth me loose 2 points deduction.
And yes: Of course I can buy unpainted Kitchen imitation wood. But there are definitely too bright colors, which are awarded in accordance with the environmental angel. And since I was assured yes, that everything is checked, I just did not expect such a chemical smell.
