For Design: The Cradle looks very elegant, especially with the veil. For us it is central to the room and makes real head turner. It just looks that it is a design object. Also all our visitors found it very nice. Anyway, the usual spring weighing can not keep up. However, one must allow space for the cot not underestimate, since they also should swing.
Material: The basket is made of cream-white, very firm linen fabric. The veil is made of a thin, semi-transparent fabric. The mattress is of the thickness as pram mattresses, underneath is a solid piece of cardboard to stiffen.
Assembly: We have the cradle mounted at an angle to the wall, which worked great and is also very stable. Otherwise, it is actually intended for ceiling mounting. A hook is provided, which does not work for us, since it is a plasterboard ceiling. We had the ceiling height no problem, the cradle can definitely be installed in any room with normal ceiling height. The guide was not equal to quite understandable but eventually we had it out.
Function: The cradle rocks as promised, here it goes up and down or in any horizontal direction. Our little one has figured out quickly how to set the cradle in motion. The only drawback in my opinion is that you can not see the baby when it is in the cradle, there is just everything opaque. No eye contact with the baby so you have if it is to, unless you sit right next to it. Also, our son is a little stubborn and did not leave with Schlummerli-spring lull you to sleep. So there is unfortunately no sleep guarantee. For these reasons, there is a star deduction.
