That the era wonderful instrumental music has not ended with the onset of modernity, proves "Songs from a Secret Garden" in an impressive manner. I have rarely listened to an album that offers such a variety of emotional melodies. Predominant is a melancholy mood that encourages the listener to dream and think. However, there are serene moments that could symbolize perfectly the spring in the secret garden, as the title of the song "Serenade to spring" indeed proposing. But Impressive is not only the beautiful pieces, but also their instrumentation. Many orchestral instruments resound concomitantly or contact solos special accents. Especially present are played by Fionnuala Sherry violin and other stringed instruments, as well as the piano and Irish flutes have their place in the music. The Irish influence, which is reflected not only in the instrumentation, but also in the mood, also contributes to the interesting character of the album. While recalls "Songs from a Secret Garden" a bit of film music, but with his expression and sense of strength, this album is able to generate the images in the imagination of the listener itself.
