Better than Generations but ...

After the demo version with the successful attack on the Kyubi Konoha I had really been looking forward to this game. The boss battles are back with a little more effort made, in fact, as in "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations" but unfortunately the game does not come close to his "direct" predecessor Ultimate Ninja Storm 2.

After the first battle against the Kyubi long time coming, unfortunately, nothing good. Instead, you have to fight two times against Yamato, for whatever reason. There are for my taste far too long interview passages (when even my controller has switched off) and senseless running passages. Pointless is because you should run only in the world from A to B and partly already lurking on the next map section of the trigger for the next fight. The few passages need to be longer to even people who do not all events is to know through the series I realized, but at times I felt as if I would look at the series again and may intervene only every now and then - which like so of the developers be intentional, but I do not like it much.

In Ninja Storm 2 could do much more in the free world, collect items, etc. which is only sporadically available. Thus these passages have apparently only the function that game to be protracted.

The boss fights are again offering QuickTime sequences and well-crafted scenes. However, this is not at all the struggles for use. For example, the 5-Kage Summit is again just a series of battles against Raikage, Gaara and Mizukage without really uneventful. Only the fight against Sasuke after Danzos death you get back a fight that makes a little more fun. Between these serial passages in which one variable Sakura and Naruto play in free mode at times 5 minutes from A to run for B ..

The ninja war is not badly done, the small hack'n'slay passages between the main battles loosen the game up. Even the fighting, whether against Sabuza, the demons statue or Madara have great fun. The final fight for victory is admittedly been much too heavy for me as a casual gamer, and since there are no checkpoints makes it really fun if you break off after several attempts and later everything is allowed to play again. Well there are now people say your fault if I'm too stupid to play, after many attempts I made it but then also managed.

There are more characters, many were also taken directly from the previous games in terms of their techniques and movements. Nevertheless, you're having fun playing together with friends. Graphically and the gameplay ago the game has improved somewhat.

In short, nice Naruto game with its highlights but unfortunately below what would have been possible.
