It all starts with the discovery of the coffin of Sir Francis Drake, who was sunk in the sea off the coast of Panama. Nathan Drake and Elena Fisher reporter ascending the mountains this relic and ceiling at the same time an ancient secret to: The coffin is empty. Only the diary of Sir Francis is located inside. In this notes stand on the location of the fabled city of El Dorado. As dutiful treasure hunters head out Nathan and his mentor Victor Sullivan to go this hot track on the ground.
== == Characters
The characters in Uncharted are all very well drawn. This form of charisma, there are only a few games. The gestures and facial expressions is quite realistic, if we disregard the daredevil climbing actions of our hero. Particular attention, however, you can place it on the German language edition very good. The voices fit the characters and in my opinion are even suitable as the English originals.
== Gameplay ==
Here the community is probably the uneinigsten. I must admit that I had even in places really cursing. First, it is not an adventure game such as the older Tomb Raider parts. Here is clearly demands more force of arms and the en masse. Basically no real downside, Währe as not the problem with Nathan's life. Compared to his AI again Achern, Drake holds only a fraction of the damage. It is often enough for a second without cover and the screen is just gray. (Gray means that the hero is close to dying) But the shootout are not always just fair. There are enemies which you repeatedly shoot in the head - what really should consider an immediate fatality - but the game does not recognize the results as such. In general, one is in the gun battles that occur many, just so busy looking for a useful cover. Mostly, however, there is so little time that it needs to do the best only. Even the opponents emergence is at times anything but fair and logical. It come virtually out of nowhere suddenly countless enemies that assail the player. Yes, even in places where they would have to be included in logic in years. Grenades are another thorn in my eye gamer. These are cast using the Six-Achses Steuerrung what more bad than good works. In other words: Most shootout are annoying in several places. Drake endures too little coverage must never leave otherwise you die immediately and opponents keep too much of or registered the game not always a headshot. I have several of these passages - especially later in the game - to die only by repeated and memorize the enemy positions managed.
But Let's talk about the adventures of Uncharted passages. There are some climbing, jumping and Coop deposits. But you have to make it very clear that Uncharted places no new foundation here. It lurches mostly in any walls high, swinging on ropes or operated lever. Positive here is the often bombastic views during the jump deposits. So you climb, for example, behind a waterfall, from which one looks at the sunset, or dive, a steep coast. The whole has quite its charm, however, comes to my mind is too short compared to the banging. Therefore, there is at this point both in the game, as well as in the overall withdrawal a star. If at least the shootout principle something special and not quite as illogical, there would have been no penalty for this. Since everybody has to decide for itself if you can live with it or not. I for one can live with, although I would have liked more "adventure".
== Conclusion ==
Here all points at a glance:
+ Very well crafted characters
+ Exciting Story
+ Good German synchronization
+ Stunning graphics for a game from 2007
+ Climbing locations often leave my heart beat faster. (Views, etc.)
- Exchanges of fire are impermanent. Many opponents ok - unfair respawns and not recognized headshot nerves in the long run.
- Six-Aches control in grenade.
- Cover system and a hero of nothing endures without coverage.
Who wants to be entertained for a few hours well, with lots of action and a great story, can access clueless here. However, If you want a pure adventure game with challenging puzzles, will be disappointed with Uncharted.
