A preliminary, here only enumerate what are covers, and what is not ... to which I do not belong!
I give me trouble here to evaluate what it evaluate here gillt; the like or do not like the music. That's what I'll do here. Where the music comes from, how it was produced I do not care, that's a matter for the musicians.
Opinion:
CD1
The new album. Be eliminated early in the samples the spirits, for some fresh air, for other lost the Scooter-Spirit, the Feeling. I myself am one of the veterans of the Scooter fans. Dubstep? Something new, a change of pace? In any case. Only this is true not everyone's taste. I myself find the album ziehmlich "colorful" a clear Lienie be seen not quite. Clear Dubstep is paramount. With songs like "C'est Blue", "The Only One", "Summer Dream", "Close Your Eyes" and "Sugary Dip" I thought to myself, so could it please the majority of the album to be, and the new direction only a "minor matter". Now it is the other way around. It's not that I do not like this style, I find eg. "Beyound the Invisible" quite nice if it did not contain the übertonte HPV (High pitchet Voice), which is easy to rough. The number such as "Copyright" I find so quite ok, only these "new voice" does not fit to me. The instrumental song "8:15 to Nowhere" and "Mashuaia" are passable, but not come close to the instrumental of the last albums. The rest is quite ok, but not awaken the old known Scooter feeling.
A new genre was raised, and it is and will probably remain one of the most controversial Scooter albums that were produced. I find the new wind varied, but just average. Some sections listen to me just "spilled meaning" to. What I totally Vermisse is a number such as "Marian (version)" or "Second Scin", this beautiful vocal numbers I always found very very nice because they showed the other side of Scooter. Unfortunately, something is not available this time.
CD2
Once again, a single collection, but this time mixed together, from new to old. Had I actually something like UTROTT desired, but this time also quite ok, especially since it is a nice ego listen-all-the-pieces Party Mix. Nice for the party, but otherwise really nothing so very special.
DVD
The light of organizational errors plagued concert (see "Fire"; Pyro effects not ignite, no Mirkofonständer must come out of and keeping it ...), pressed to a shekel. The "The Stadium Techno Inferno" had no tour and was unique, it is quite cool and had a nice track selection, I like it!
Other
The hand-signed autograph cards of the deluxe box are great, these are real autographed cards, no multiple copies, each one is unique. The trailer is very chic, I think the chain is not to be replaced, however, that is not quite as stable, and on wild fetus they may lose their lives. The poster has on one side the "Big Mash up" cover, on the other a "chilly" image of three techno guys. Otherwise, you have a few pictures at postcard size.
Should I buy it?
Hardcore Scooter fans; Decide for yourself. Actually should be a hardcore fan buy this box if he great album, or just how I found average. Thank you from in this case, then you can leave it, and take up a smaller version, or to download MP3.
Normal Scooterhöhrer; Tests the new styles, and thinking about it. I can tell you here do not help you decide.
For casual Scooterhöhrer: If you want the old familiar scooter Feling and instead look at other albums by "The Stadium Techno Experience", "Whos Got The Last Laugh Now?" or the predecessor "Under the Radar Over the Top" can I lay upon your minds. Otherwise hears but test times purely, perhaps it says yes too.
So, that was a conclusion of a long-standing Scooter fans. I hope I could help you in making a purchase decision.
