F1 2010 Beta

For years, there is again a Formula 1 game. I am really looking forward to it and waited every day on new developer videos. Then I got it at an early stage here preordered on Amazon and get delivered on time. DC started a career and everything set as realistic as possible, but after a few race weekends, numerous contributions in various forums I make more and more mistakes firmly that make the whole game, unfortunately, much worse than it was announced in the videos. I am disappointed, especially by the AI, because the times are generated by script and not be driven by cars on the track. The cars move only so on the course, so it looks like, as if they would generate times. In reality, each controlled by computer car moves almost on a level, regardless of whether HRT, Lotus or Ferrari and Red Bull. In other words, if you manage to qualify for the 20th place in qualifying with a HRT, then it is passed on in the race to the back, because the cars that start behind a move just as fast on the course, such as the one before. That's the thing that bothers me the most and actually wrecking the whole mood. For this reason I play the game first not, but waiting for the patch, which hopefully makes this beta status the final version. If not, then there on Ebay soon have a PC version to bid ...

OK, the thing with the regularly bursting tires can be determined quickly correct. By the way, I've got this season in any driver saw who had to go to every race to the pits because of a tire it has burst. Likewise, I've never seen it that someone who leaves the pits with fresh tires gets a flat tire in the 4th or 5th curve.

The thing about the pit stop I've not experienced, because I read early enough the posts in the forums and consider myself driving from the outset to the trick with a lap later to the pits.

What I find unfortunate is that the AI ​​cars are apparently never with full tanks on the way, for this reason I asked the petrol simulation on out, because with my HRT I'm slow enough on the track.

Then I was used to from the past that you get in the racing game, the time intervals shown the vehicle in front and the man behind and not tell the difference, how much you slow is the first driver in the current round, or how much slower it was for his own personal best. But good as the car so do not generate proper times, can be so bad, the time interval to the vehicle ahead specify.

I'm just disappointed, especially Codemasters I would have been more capable of. Sometimes on the slogan but something to it that everything was better when I think of the games like "F1 Racing Simulation 'or' Grand Prix 3" and "Grand Prix 4".

There is really only one thing that I think is great in the game and that is the graphics - it's amazing. But to me happens to be the Spieltife more important than the graphics. The Wetterffekte are incidentally graphically super implemented only with the reality they have not so much to do. I've also never seen that in a real Formula 1 race the track that was just almost under water is completely dry within a maximum of 5 minutes.

It remains to be hoped that the beta status will be upgraded to the final version.
