The rigidity of the rotary joint is strong enough to allow different viewing angle without slipping, but also smooth enough to the case to include pleasant and without much effort. The sleep and wake function works fine when open and close with the variably adjustable viewing angles it is possible to adapt to many different work situations. The big advantage compared to many other keyboard cases is my opinion that the iPad is in portrait or landscape formats can adjust.
Since I got for testing the case, I have adjusted the drop test, which is applying anchor in this product. I have a case with and drop onto a steel plate without iPad from three different heights (0.5m and 1m, 1.5m). Only at a drop height of 1.5 m directly on a corner, the case got a really small crack in the plastic. The function and the seat of the iPad within the shell, this has however not mind. Also, the iPad has survived all drop tests without damage.
Furthermore, the quality of the keyboard I was very pleasantly surprised. One can compare it to that of a high-quality netbooks and stands as some laptop keyboards in function and writing comfort in every way. Of course you have to remember that due to the overall size it is not a full-size keyboard. Nevertheless, the keyboard offers a pleasant writing sensation. Power gets the device has a rechargeable battery, which is by old up to 6 months according to the manufacturer (with an average useful life of 2 hours per day). I used the keyboard in the last two weeks very intense and the first battery is still holding. I will test the battery in more detail and update the review if I can make more accurate statements for this purpose. A charging cable (Micro USB) for the battery has been included.
The only aspect that is not fully convinced me of this product, is the weight. Of course you can with a full keyboard with a large battery and hard plastic case does not necessarily expect a flyweight, but the curb weight is 671g with already relatively heavy. One must also bear in mind yet, that there still comes to the weight of the iPad Yes.
Nevertheless, I give this product 5 stars because the function and design convince me completely. Especially the different viewing angle in portrait and landscape combined with the high-quality keyboard give to have one already are a laptop on the table feel.
All Case keyboards that I could test so far can not compete with this product from anchors. If now the weight can be reduced in a future version, then it's personal for me an almost perfect keyboard Case for iPad Air.
