Even though I am an enthusiast when it comes to high-quality technology in the field of sound, I would note that I am a layman when it comes to the area. For this reason, my assessment is very subjective.
Furthermore, I will in my estimation only go into the JBL batch II, since my machine has more awarded, as the higher priced placed Bose SoundLink II.
To my review:
When unpacking I was happy like a little kid when I took the device out of his shell ... It can look very sophisticated in its broader in silicone housing that shines with additional grids that protect the speaker from damage.
The weight is great and should stand out negatively for anyone.
On top of the device you will find a total of 6 keys, which are incorporated into the silicone, which I really liked.
- 1 button for switching on and off
- 1 button to turn on and off Bluetooth
- 1 button to select the "social media" on and off (Provides the ability to connect 3 devices to the speakers via Bluetooth and can play music, being the last terminal that starts a song takes precedence)
- 1 button in order to use the speakerphone
- Provide 2 keys for quieter and louder (Unfortunately, the current volume is not displayed on the device)
In addition to the keys can be found a small hole in which the micron hides for the handsfree function of the device. This function works flawlessly and provides for both sides a good result. One understands the other person very well, it has no feedback and the interlocutor understands me perfectly.
The device has at the bottom at the back then a few more ports to charge the device, connect the device via AUX with a terminal and the best ... The device has a USB port with which you have the chance , his cell phone or the like to load their mobile device when the battery is empty times. (Thus, the device is additionally an external battery that offers a battery capacity of 6,000 mAh)
So enough descriptions ... Now we come to the interesting part.
After the first turn greeted me nicely lit white LED's that indicate that the unit is on. A click on the Bluetooth "Button" and you can already connect to a terminal. Went to my cell phone to the Bluetooth search and ZACK found directly and connected within a few seconds. Sooooooooo the tension rose slowly ... Short picked a song and started directly times. I WAS EXCITED. One can not describe the real. The part that surprised me with such a great balanced sound. I've heard songs for hours (quiet, loud, fast, slow, bass heavy, classical, etc ...) and it has, unlike many other mobile device just convinced me.
You have to remember that it is a mobile device that is powered by a battery here. Furthermore, one must bear in mind that the device will cost only 130, so I can not understand that some Krtiker this mobile speakers give only 2 stars. I never imagined the reviews perused taken to heart and has a lot of things that have been criticized there understand. That still does not justify the 2 points that have been awarded this device, especially if you are facing the device in its price category with other devices. I think that the JBL Charge II all other devices in the shade in this price range.
I introduced the speaker to the 18/10/2014 in the circle of friends. We celebrated a birthday there, which dragged on for many hours and the part has conjured us all a smile on your face. Everyone's got the taste and none has so far seen little vergleichsbares.
FYI: The unit was running all the time on maximum volume ... The battery life was breathtaking. 7-8 hours
The volume and the quality was up to the moment until the battery went empty, consistently good.
Although the speaker has not reached the 12 Hours runtime listed in the product description, but I do not see that as a criticism. These 12 hours refer, like many other speakers, to a combined use.
However, there are 2 points that bother me on the device:
The speaker has an open passive bass radiators. These are protected not by mesh or similar and could be accidentally damaged in the long run (when transporting in a backpack or the like)
Furthermore, the speakers at low volumes in some music tracks problems with playback. It created so-called, audible artifacts that limit the sound something. I assume, however, that most people these artifacts due to hear through your kind of music, not even listening. At higher volumes, these artifacts are no longer an issue then anyway ..
Here briefly a pro and con list:
Pro:
- Long battery life
- Beautiful design
- Good sound (even at high volumes)
- Powerful bass
- Speakers and external battery in a single unit
Cons:
- Small weaknesses in low volume
- Unprotected bass radiators
This speaker can not work miracles and is perhaps not the perfect device, but in its price category of the best all-rounder.
I do not regret the purchase and would buy the speakers directly again, and recommend to my friends and family.
For questions, I am happy to help you and I hope I could give you still a little insight into the device with my amateur assessment.
