Customer Review

Rainbow was a direct sequel, the Pope guitar Ritchie Blackmore after leaving the heavy rock - brought to life legendary Deep Purple. The fact is also that Blackmore, both in terms of quality and in terms of hardness lot was ahead of his time with "Rising" his former colleagues of Deep Purple who indulged at the time, in most cases their solo careers. In fact, I would "Rising" even described as one of the few timeless art of hard rock scene, which in the same breath with albums like Led Zeppelin's "Four" (aka "Four Symbols") or Free's "Fire And Water" must be called. Even with the ingenious keyboard intro of "Tarot Woman" confront any hackles vertically and then the mighty guitar section gradually brightens over a long stopped Moog synthesizer sound, there is no stopping them. No wonder: inventory but the band occupation of the Rainbow Band at that time only geniuses on your instrument. Also on board Sangesgott Ronnie James Dio were (later Black Sabbath, then Dio), Jimmy Bain on bass (later also with Dio), Cozy Powell on drums (later during Whitesnake, MSG, Black Sabbath, Robert Plant), Tony Carey (then been awarded two times in a row by a leading music magazine for keyboard player of the year and later blessed with a successful solo career) on keyboards and of course Master Ritchie Blackmore on guitar. One could almost say. A "who's who" of hard rock band much potential could actually accomplish only a masterpiece, and so then contains "Rising" probably the best Rainbow-material throughout the band's history. Allen songs ahead of course the epic classic "Stargazer" with Blackmore showed the world how to write Kultepen addition, however, the aforementioned High Energy -. Pieces "Tarot Woman", the midtempo heavy "Run With The Wolf", the raging "A Light In The Black "and the Live Kracher" Starstruck ". In fact you could list all the songs here and everyone would be a classic. After" Rising "the band lost with Jimmy Bain, and especially Tony Carey two important members. It focused on something eingängigeres songwriting namely the follow-up album "Long Live Rock'n'Roll" provided some hits, but could not keep up with the (in the truest sense of the word) genius "Rising".
