Seldom has me something as soon as excited Windows Phone 8. The market share is (still) low, the first versions were clearly not great and many editors of test magazines are obviously Android fans. So I was very skeptical. After I got a few Windows Phones taken in various shopping centers in the hand, mostly Nokia models, immediately came the "Have-Want-effect". For young people, tinkering all day constantly on their smartphone, the Android system with its countless settings and lots of knallbuntem "pling-pling" may be quite attractive, the personal opinions of the Windows Phone is in my opinion the better choice. The operation is simple and worlds easier and more logical than Android. After just a few minutes you know how it works, even without instructions. The appearance of the screens is coherent, looks classy and fresh. Everything runs smoothly and quickly, also because Windows has much lower hardware requirements, even the simple processors are fully sufficient, all hits, no trailer or stuttering. What is this good operating system often blamed negative, are the "few" available apps. But honestly, I do not need 900,000 apps, of which 99% are absolute junk anyway. In Windows Store, there are in the meantime everything (and much more) you need, and the apps are really good and well thought out. 150,000 apps are enough really. After many years of Android (who always enjoyed), I am now very happy to have found a "adult" system that can work wonderfully and with this one stands out from the crowd. Check it out!
For HTC 8X:
Wow, what a smart phone! Super processed, great display and a real eye-catcher. It fits comfortably in your hand, feels very valuable, and fits well with WP8 with the polygonal shape. The camera is great for a cell phone, the unibody case, I find great. Since I have in many years mobile phone use never needed a spare battery that is not replaceable battery is at 8X for me not a disadvantage. It has a large enough screen, but is so compact and handy that it can be operated with one hand, which was important to me. Too many models with Windows there is not yes. The Samsung Ativ S is much too large, appears really cheap and is not smooth like a bar of soap, so I also like S3, S4 and consorts. Huawei I have not tried. That leaves Nokia. Incidentally, even the simple 520 a blast. In direct competitors it's the 920 and 925, that one should compare it with the 8X. The 920 is me personally too bulky and too heavy, also more expensive than the 8X. The 820 I really like, but it is inferior to 8X in almost all respects, yet slightly more expensive. The 8X can be currently (as of Nov.2013) get less than 200 euros, making it in my opinion the best option if you want a Windows Phone. In an original factory price for over 500 Euro it is currently almost squandered. Nokia has sporadically better apps, including navigation, but I already have a navigation system and therefore do not need another one. In addition, the display has the 8X a ratio of 16: 9 (Nokia has 16:10) and that is better for photos and videos. So my decision was made for the HTC, and I have not looked back. Strong buy recommendation!
