I then first but let me very direct from the price and get for almost 10 an absolutely terrible cheap cover, with nasty Gußkanten that really nice drill into your palms while keeping the iPad. And such a nasty texture and all the nice shiny plastic look discounters.
The SeeJacket Clip is there more elegant: The material is surprisingly thin, on the other hand very stable (if you take it in your hand and it knocks the other hand makes it a nice "Tonk" sound, like a solid Frühstücksbrett). It falls to me in the category "Precious Plastic": A slightly velvety, soft surface, as they are sometimes found on the back of good smartphones. Enough grip so as not to go smoothly as a living fish on hand, but not so sticky that it equally attracts the entire house dust (as I had to experience it with my iPod touch Silicone Cover).
It clicks firmly to the iPad 3, backward and to the sides, everything is protected, while very pleasant: All buttons and ports are recessed so that they can continue to be very easy to operate - connect the power supply is not a problem. Forwardly covers the cover just as the delicate (in my eyes) edge between metal and the display glass, so that when a crash does not equal the glass edge is affected. Otherwise, the cover forms a nearly flat surface with the display, no bulging, fat plastic edges that the fun Rumtouchen spoil (again an evil eye toward cost Cover).
The whole thing fits perfectly to the Smart Cover, it includes all of a piece with the back cover off. Here you can see that the manufacturers have really dealt with the iPad and the Smart Cover! I own the favorable polyurethane variant, the clip Cover and Smart Cover feel very similar to what a unique selling point is: It does not have to feel an object from dozens of items in hand.
Some days I went a little daring and doing the cover for a couple of hours from (it is easy to back "abclippen" no rumpressen and rumwurschteln), enjoy a bit of the slim object made of glass and metal, but in everyday life I enjoy the protection of the cover. Together with the Smart Cover I wear it so easy to get around in my backpack with me. Sure, it's always a pity such a very thin device like the iPad 3 (or 2, nor indeed a touch slimmer's) for pressing in a plastic bag, but this clip Cover is elegant and made such a beautiful material, also as perfect adapted to the iPad that it is more like an extension of the iPad feels like a sofa as a protective cover.
