Sensational mobile DAC, this dragonfly ..... For the first time I had done extensive testing with Windows 8, on JPLAY high-end audio software and specify Dragonfly. Then flush with Mac via the also outstanding Audirvana Plus software. The system I then cross-linked in both cases with headphones, including Grado Statement GS1000, RS2i, Grado 325i, B & W P5, and Martin Logans Micros 90th All test subjects sounded sensational about Dragonfly, clear with JPLAY and Audirvana still phenomenal, than without. As expected, sounded Grado GS1000 the most spacious, with excellent detail resolution. The Dragonfly was then also be used on the iPad. Here is (as already mentioned) a Camera Kit necessary (a Lightning to USB Cable), which is then connected to T3Hub of Dr.Bott and even then at Dragonfly. The sound earnings is already evaluate nearly as over-sensational !! Resolution, naturalness and endless power. Anyone who has tried it so, will not want to hear the different iPad ..... Battery consumption is clearly somewhat higher manageable with attached Dragonfly on iPad than without, yet. An affordable high-end solution for ambitious headphone fans !! Sound even on the hi-fi system, the dragonfly very convincing, but I found the ARCAM rPac as the better alternative. But through headphones the Dragonfly is a real hammer !!! For all highly recommended, brings very fell flair and quality of large DAC s with, and reached about 60-70% of klangich feasible.
