Harman Kardon NC Noise Cancelling Over-Ear Headphones (Electronics)

Customer Review

To take an advance, the decision was not easy. Each of these mentioned headset has positive aspects but also negative. I finally resorted to its own evaluation matrix and then decided just for one. The main focus was clearly on the NC, then the sound came on par with the wearing comfort.
The Bose QC 25 is nicely packaged. After removing the foil me an acrid stench immediately noticed. It smelled terribly toxic and I was horrified that Bose delivers something. I have bled the headphones on the balcony and have first occupied myself with the Sony.
The packaging is a high quality product requirements. Absolutely convincing. The supplied bag is very good. What strikes me immediately, the headset is larger and heavier than the Bose headphones. I'm glad the battery is charged, so I can test it right. With switched off NC headphones listens to good. The centers are emphasized a little more here. With activated NC it sounds clearer. NC works with the Sony prima. The first tests were very positive. And I was thrilled with the headphones. The build quality is absolutely on top class level. Nothing creaks or squeaks. The materials used compose himself the ideal candidate. Sony, my absolute favorite.
Unfortunately, the Sony has a relatively loud humming noise when not playing music or music with quiet passages. Especially with classical music, it strikes me particularly. Since I also want to use the headphones at home and here it is thankfully quiet as the plane or train, the buzzing me took something the euphoria for the headphones. Even the higher weight, becomes noticeable during extended wear. It is not uncomfortable and the upholstery is first class, but there is a noticeable difference to my personal winner.
The Harman Kardon NC headphones looks different, touches his great and is super comfortable. I find the headphones complete success, unfortunately it has in terms of NC opposite the Sony and Bose in the cold. It works, but not as impressive as the other two. The sound is good, just music requires more bass, comes here to its best advantage. As the competition has left behind. Unfortunately, this is also a disadvantage. In music, where it depends on more subtleties or brilliance, sounds to me the Harman Kardon personally dull. Since I have no fixed musical tastes and from classical to rap to jazz or rock can hear everything, me here the headphones plays too much in a style of music and not me personally diverse enough. Even though I love a powerful bass at certain music. What has also struck me, so top quality is the material used, so it is prone to noise. For small touches of the bracket, the noise transmits clearly on the earpieces. That's where Sony and but also in the model of Bose solved better.

The Bose is now neutral in smell and I make friends quickly with the low weight. The materials used are not as high as in the Sony. But he seems not cheap. The seat is perfect, all I can to not actually say.
In NC activate the sound is a joke, if you compare the sound with the Sony or Harman Kardon. With NC activated the sound is surprisingly brilliant and multifaceted. It can be used a powerful bass resist giving, as well as the subtle sounds in a guitar concert that arise when grasping the strings. And at rest, even to 99% is resting. The humming noise that wealthier all NC headphones, you really will here hardly noticed.
How I chose?
After my own rating system, it went like this:
1. Bose (Note 1.56)
2. Sony (Note 1.70)
3. Harman Kardon (Note 2.02)
Finally, let me say that all three headphones have their place. The Harman Kardon with its special and unusual design in combination with a high quality feel. If you prefer a style of music with powerful bass, can be definitely happy here.
The Sony with its excellent workmanship and strong sound.
And as well as the Bose, who is also the most expensive, unfortunately, has convinced me with a very good sound and an excellent noise-canceling technology. The unbeaten compactness and the best transport bag have identified the last bit and I was able to nominate my personal winner.
