When I was reading the other reviews so because either the manufacturer strongly rectified (I have my relative of SB Components), or Noir and Normal module vary slightly in size, or the version (currently 1.3) are different. The lens is a small piece in the housing displaced pure. I have glued a small glass front flap (on the housing) so that the lens is not dirty - perfect!
In my case no cable is bent (even if it would have to bear the cable actually loosely). The cable comes out the back of the screws out of the chassis. For overhead installation the software Raspi can rotate the image 180 degrees easily. Please DO NOT turn the module in the housing! The module red LED must be aligned (at the bottom of the Amazon image =) be in the small hole next to the lens and the cable connection to the cable outlet in the bolt holes! Two matching screws for mounting are also still in the process.
For outdoor installation note that the housing official is not splashproof. I have it attached to a weather-protected position and had as yet no (moisture) problems with it. For the price I risk it easy ;-)
Advantage: The Raspi is affixed inside and connected to a 1-meter ribbon cable with the camera. Nobody suspected a camera at the little black thing.
Otherwise there is not much to say about the case, there are two black plastic parts that are clipped together.
