Old Rating: big-bottomed section is unusable. After calibration to SG 1000, totally negative result brew: classic tool with a SG of 1014 (finished fermentation), the refracted still gives SG 1030 Poor isolated experience I hope.

Update: After several trials syrup, Refracto works as it should. My mistake was to measure a fermented mash, or direct reading is erroneous. We must correct it with the help of beersmith for example.

We learn from these mistakes. And for my part, I find the more accurate reading than with a conventional tool "bomb" a little (error of 2.3 SG units)
