More expensive throwback to its predecessor!

I have since November 2012 Keeping predecessor Becker Professional 50. Shortly thereafter, the new Revo was presented by Becker. Super Schick made. But the beautiful appearances are deceptive:

A colleague has just bought the new Revo. We have the Navi exchanged 1 Week + can extensively compare. Here the experience in bullet points:

Benefits Becker Revo / Becker Professional 50:

- The perfect voice input is now reduced by 1 menu item from the home screen in the top left
- The navigation system itself is processed undoubtedly excellently and a feast for the eyes.
- Active holder has (probably intended for trucks, or half dead ...) Connection for a reversing camera

Benefits Becker Professional 50 / Becker Revo:

- Active support is just half the size, and handling significantly better (!). The Revo has to be hooked oblique with fumbling and then held on magnet. You have the chunky bracket that does not fit the style, grappling with the 2nd hand in losing weight; the strong magnet will not give the Navi otherwise simple. Very annoying!!!
- Better speaker quality
- Matt display. In practice, much better compared with Revo constantly reflective glass display and greasy fingerprints. Pretty to look at the packaging. Otherwise not.
- The red "Back" button can also be much better press. When Revo through lower lying offset housing accessible only by fumbling. Women with long fingernails should stay away from this Navi equal.
- The Revo is totally crashed a week 1x. The Becker 50 worked perfectly for 4 months
- Price advantage of about 130.- Euro at a practical poorer designer piece ... !!!

The very good rest is identical. The reliability of route features is equivalent to other competitors. But the only expedient map display in 2D can fully convince compared to all sorts of colorful rivals. Similarly, the other Navis natural sounding speech output!

Finally, the info: The colleague has since the Revo against the Becker Professional 50 exchanged. A tip: Please einrechnen also here about 5.- Euro for Becker Telefonhotline- in often non-functioning lifelong map update. Was with me as well. Still, I'm looking for comparisons, the Becker 50 Prof. z. Time for unbeaten.

Among the presented disadvantages justifying the chic design of the Revo in any way such a blatant price premium, and because of the totally messed Aktivhalterung I forgive only 1 star!
