The basic idea is clearly taken from GTA. You assume the role of John Marston Outlaws and is located in the Mexican border region in 1911 again. The Wild West is approaching its inevitable end. Marston is a former outlaw who has settled with his wife and son to live a decent life. However, forcing government agents him his former band members to bring down.
As with GTA has here to do a whole range of major issues to reach the goal of the game. These missions are usually varied and quite rare annoying as I knew it from GTA 4. Step by step you can while exploring the area. At the start you will find yourself on a small farm, but gradually you learn through the missions the entire map and thus know the locations. There are numerous side missions and plenty of other ways to pass the time. You just do not feel like the next mission to do then you go hunting or play some poker. In addition to poker, you can still blackjack, dice poker, Five Finger Fillet, arm wrestling or playing horseshoes. At least to me it has done this most poker, which is played in the variant Texas Hold'em. In poker is considered as blackjack, the larger the site, the higher the stakes. By the way you can make money by taking advantage of the bounty hunters a name or other odd jobs takes over. The existing side missions can be found on the map. The game is fun and bored in any way, even after some time. However, it takes a little until you right in the game there is, but it leaves a then not let go. At least he's happened to me so. I recommend the game very often to save because it is annoying if you had for example some time with great success on the hunt and then suddenly killed by a grizzly. All the trophies are again over Jordan, and so it is here every now and then caching.
The graphics are great and for me is one of Red Dead next UNCHARTED 1-3, Batman Arkham Asylum and City, and Assassin's Creed II, AC BROTHERHOOD and REVELATIONS AC the best that there is for the PS3. Big advantage over the mentioned games, however, is simply the OPEN WORLD idea, because this has been implemented great. The controller is totally simple and pretty much identical to GTA. The music fits the game very well and sounds in some places even something like the great Ennio Morricone. The game length is more than neat. I think if you want to do it all main and side missions, while the area scouted times, then you can certainly spend 50 hours, and more with the game. I have the game now through, in just under 40 hours and saw fulfilled 78% of total orders and missions. Here was already spoken in some reviews of graphics bugs, which I can only agree. Also I am already risen on an invisible horse where the linen was to be seen. That does not detract from the pleasure but. For me Red Dead REDEMEPTION is a first class game that is very entertaining and exciting. Rockstar Games has succeeded here an excellent game in a great neighborhood.
As already mentioned is also the long-term factor is not too short. I've played the game for the first time about a year ago the game and currently I'm back at Red Dead in the Wild West. It would be desirable if RockStar makes it a successor to the trip, because here are far from all the opportunities available. Incidentally, this is the Austrian version (AT), which is, however, identical to the German 100%. For me, one of the absolute top games on the PS3.
