Purchase crucial for me, were the good test results of EI and the notes in the tests that but cheaper products often before trigger a false alarm.
After almost a year in operation, I can say that the smoke alarms function smoothly and there were no false positives. The rest period is thus secured.
Networking via radio module works without problems over several floors also. Here is just a button press on the module within the 15 minutes (in each smoke alarm in the system!) And the smoke detectors are linked. The successful coupling indicates a LED.
What I personally find a bit confusing, the lower versions of Ei605 which are reflected in the letter after the number. Basically here differentiated built-in lithium-ion battery and a "normal" 9V and secondly whether that radio module via the battery of the smoke detector is supplied or a separate own battery has.
Personally, I have decided on the 9 volt battery and change these every 2 years, I was not sure whether the nichtwechselbaren lithium-ion batteries really entertained by the radio modules 10 years.
