The phone itself is a stunner hardware technology, it runs fast and smooth and the touch screen is the
the iPhone in every way.
I want a small plus and minus perform list here:
+ Giant screen (4.3 ') allows browsing experience like never before.
+ Top Hardware, 1GHz processor, 447 MB RAM, capacitive display, etc ...
+ Free WM 6.5 operating system with HTC Sense, which is really nice to look at and works perfectly.
+ Phone appears as a removable storage on a PC.
+ Free Speichererwieterung possible via microSD cards.
+ Multitouch
+ For a smartphone with this size display great extent, especially the 11mm thickness make it thinner than the iPhone.
+ The weather absolutely successful presentation, just an eye candy.
+ Huge selection of freely available software for Windows Mobile in general.
+ Free synchronization of contacts, calendars, SMS, ... via MyPhone from Microsoft directly from your mobile phone.
- Windows is Windows, unfortunately 1 crash.
- Under the HTC Sense interface sometimes comes but the WM interface to the fore, which is reminiscent of Windows 3.1.
- Software keyboard is not responding as accurately as those on the iPhone.
- A little software on the Microsoft MarketPlace Plus however see list above.
- With more than 150g but relatively heavy.
All in all, a real alternative to the iPhone because although the iPhone no leaderboard on various websites
leads every upcoming smartphone will be judged on the iPhone, if only for the popularity of the small
Apple. With the HD2 but HTC is a big hit and it is for me to now your iPhone equal to operate and in the hardware configuration definitely vastly superior.
The software is a matter of taste, 2 years ago Windows would feel safe not elicited by the fire, but since Windows 7 for the PC I'm back more convinced of Microsoft and regret not to be changed again in the smartphone back to Microsoft.
From me a strong buy recommendation for the HTC HD2, but only if one is willing to deal with the software of his mobile phone a little.
