Connectivity:
The speaker can be operated with the help of Bluetooth or via a 3.5mm jack cable (included). Coupling with my smartphone also went smoothly and the connection is established automatically each time you switch on. Only the connection with my laptop was not re-established automatically in part, but this is probably due more to a driver issue my Windows operating system.
The range of the Bluetooth connection is also remarkable. Since there are many Bluetooth devices that already refuse to serve as soon as a person between the receiver and the transmitter is, I was surprised really positively to this device.
I have tested the range both with my smartphone (HTC One M8) in a sports hall and it was not possible for me to pause playback without leaving the gymnasium. Battery life:

The Bluetooth speaker Philips BT100W / 00 from Philips is doing what he is and he does good music loud and unsophisticated play.
