The LG Optimus 7 E900 is beautifully finished. Acting through the geburstete aluminum (battery cover) and the weight of just 160g of high quality. The plastic parts on the top and bottom speaker microphone side have a slightly rubberized - very nice ...
The only drawback that I have currently, that is, there is no end call button. Several times I instead hang the search started. The rewind, Windows (Home) - and search button are mechanically and not capacitive with this phone ... no matter the price.
But actually it comes to Microsoft OS - this is very thought out, logical and very simple - has a somewhat 90s style, as far as the tiles in my eyes. There are no background image that distracts and affects but alive.
What I find unfortunate and yet not quite through glances, the task switches ... no longer used tasks I can finish only by the Back button (???). Maybe someone knows what here! :-)
Setting up the first start of WP 7 was very easy for me because I already have a Live ID and follow all the contacts had in stock (except for a few ...). Zune loaded on my computer, and the update to 7.5 WP downloaded - Attention, takes about 1.5 hours!
If you sign up with Facebook, existing contacts will be immediately updated. Birthdays and events, which are posted on the social network, are immediately reflected in the calendar. Do not worry, you can change.
Appropos Social: connectivity for social network world (Facebook) is really good, better than the jetztigen iPhone etc, where you first have to launch that app - interesting here: Apple pulls well with the iOS 6.0 to ... aha !! -D
Why I have chosen for the LG E900 is simple: I wanted to get away from "Bada" and because the E900 is currently very favorable, what WP7 terms - just as soon Windows Phone 8 will appear.
For Vodafone branding I can only say: I have an O2 card in it and works without any limitations!
PS: I am actually convinced of Samsung, but as for Samsung's OS "Bada", I can not recommend (more) unfortunately!

Whoever does not receive the update via Zune, it tries wired trick. Simply by Google / Bing search for Zune Cable trick ....
