JBL batch portable Bluetooth stereo speakers (2x 5 Watt) incl. Li-Ion battery (6000mAh) gray (Wireless Phone Accessory)

Customer Review

I was looking for a speaker for use in the park, the lake, etc., which does not take up much space and to even to make good sound. Impossible? I find anything, the JBL but it was not the end.

I've tested in recent weeks after a long Youtube and Amazon Search following speakers compared.
I'm more of a to the sound of speakers, total conclusion can be found below.

- Jabra SoleMate (~ 110)
- JBL Charge (~ 110)
- Bose SoundLink Mini (~ 170)
- Ultimate Ears Boom (~ 200)

Tests with Xperia Z1 performed + various EQ settings with Poweramp Music Player.

First of all I want to say that everyone has a different sense of music and also I have not a professional ear, but I think that I can now assess well what sounds good and what does not.

The JBL batch arrive at a price similar to the Jabra, however, the small bass role of JBL has flunked me. The system installed 2 full-range speakers and to work in this size with a bass reflex system I think is not a good solution. The heights have convinced me, but midrange and bass fall by the wayside. Also have on my model (possibly production errors, but I do not) at a slightly increased volume as 60% on channel bass reflex air turbulence formed who then led to unsightly "buzz". In addition that, in nearly full volume the part so overloaded that it really does not sound nice. In direct comparison, the Jabra sound a lot better! According to the volume not as strong, but much more balanced sound and perfectly adequate!
Since we are a SoundLink Mini at home, I could always be directly compared with the large "sound model" Bose and lo and behold, here too the SoleMate Soundwise cuts very well, volume is somewhat similar to, but much more balanced sound.

Compared Jabra vs. Ultimate Ears boom can also here the SoleMate soundwise keep up but it tends at full volume even to slight oversteer, what has the UE boom in any volume (and the boom is worlds louder). For this, of course, costs almost twice as much.
Why did not I decided to use the Jabra? With my tester and Bluetooth 4.0 entsand min. Every 10 seconds, a faint clicking noise, which has annoyed me for an hour listening to so that I unfortunately had to close with the Jabra. Enjoying music sounds different.

Last Bose compared to the small box howler Logitech Ultimate Ears has me here the UE convinced. The Bose has very clear highs and strong bass. I own beats Mixr headphones, I can say for myself that I like to listen to music bassy. The Bose exaggerate my opinion its role but even so excessive that the bass is out of proportion to the rest. Would that something ever come out of my mouth and I did not think, but the bass is almost always at the same volume and as soon as one drives the Bose to its limits (80-100%), he suddenly disappears completely ?! In my opinion not a good vote. In addition to the Logitech also again is much louder than the Bose (Bose also began in the border area very easy to control, the Logitech not). And contacts as microUSB or be attached to the bottom of the speaker I find times something of stupid for a portable speaker (insert a few times in the wet grass is there not in it), that I was then diverted this point completely from buying the Bose.

In the end it was then the UE Boom from Logitech, just the portable speaker par excellence! Volume is enormous, sound is very balanced, both treble and the bass and midrange sound clean. And no matter what the volume, the thing never overridden easily. For me, the ultimate loudspeaker to take.

Quick Overview:

Jabra SoleMate:
+ Price
+ Super Design & good workmanship
+ Bag for dust and water protection
+ Very horny sound
+ Jack cable is always there
+ Compact and portable
+ NFC
o Volume is not the highest, but adequate
o very slight oversteer at the highest volume level
- Cracking in Bluetooth transmission (at least on my machine)

And because the Bluetooth transfer was for me the most important, this was unfortunately the KO Kreterium for small shoe

JBL batch:
+ Price
+ Huge battery
+ Usable as mobile battery
+ Clear highs + high volume
o somewhat bulky design
o processing is not as high compared to the others
- Overrides greatly (from around 70% of volume)
- Bass reflex port generates annoying "buzz"

Bose SoundLink Mini:
+ Sound
+ Processing
o Volume
o to basslastig
- Not a good portability (battery too weak contacts mounted unhappy)

Ultimate Ears Boom:
+ Sound
+ Portable without any restrictions
+ Processing
+ Volume (at no little oversteer)
+ Battery
+ Fastest Bluetooth connection when tested
+ NFC
- Price

The Logitech has managed to remain the only in my possession, and rightly so. Quite expensive, but there is also nothing like it currently, thus including justified anywhere.

I hope I can help you a bit in your decision!
