My "old" H430 has a closed construction (technical term?), Ie. that the listener does not press on the ear, but a "Round Ring" upside down around the ear around, that is. it is not a permanent pressure on the sensitive ear perpetrated, but around it around the head. So close, in contrast to HD 465 listeners around the ear from and create a small "sound space", the ear can speak now completely dedicated to music.
In the long run, this construction method is much more comfortable to wear than aufdrückende listeners which have to come just as close to your ear forcibly press the ear.
I can only express my incomprehension why that now with "middle class" -Kopfhörern not (more?) Standard, it is closed to build.
The only downside of the HD430 is that it has standard related with thin leather handset, ie. when it's hot and the movie / game / music session lasts a little too long, one where the headphones sit around the ear (very pleasant way), including the sweating begins. But this is far better than deaf ears afterwards.
But all right, now to the sound:
As described above, omitted the HD 465 around the "sound space" around the ear. One could assume that now suffer the bass underneath. However, the headphone inherently already such a gebalanctes on bass sound that is not the case. With songs where the bass is there, the headphones cut right in, where there is none (classical, etc.) they behave nicely quiet and concentrate on highs and midtones. Very nice.
However, I find the sound in person (after all, so any assessment of the sound from headphones, sound systems etc. absolutely subjective) as not as satisfactory as my HD 430 from Sennheiser.
With bass-heavy songs (I also like to listen to) go with the HD 465 times but like the tweeter slightly below, on the other hand wins the HD 430 in any case. Possibly the its closed construction is due to, but I can only guess, because the HD 430 of the bass, although more discreet, but looks much more gaudy than the Junior HD 465 and the midtones and treble are clear as Mozart's 46 symphonies (hyperbole) ,
Although I will my HD 430 remain faithful, I keep the HD 465 only once, perhaps he comes into the living room or is given away, because bad headphones, they are not, but I would personally advise Amazon shoppers spend even 20 more and a closed Sennheiser buying.
