Unlike the FZ 7000 it has a removable ring around the cooking vessel. This ring ensures that the fries are better turned in the cooking container. That to me is a sensible development for 7000. In FZ which had already times, mostly at the beginning of the cooking time, put each potato on the edge. That meant open lid and push back. Unlike FZ it switches at the end of the set cooking time from the device. Good change, because if you had not heard the signal at the FZ she ran on and on .....
The new display is nice, but for me now do not necessarily add value to the animated logo. With a worktop height of 94 cm, you realize that the viewing angle of the display's is set for lower altitudes. I have to put on tiptoe to the numbers to be able to read me clean with 1.74 size. Is for me but not a reason to devalue.
Registration for the extended warranty (2 + 1 warranty) worked perfectly, since the box from Amazon the necessary card was included.
The cookbook like me, it brings a new idea for the Actifry. So far I had made predominantly of homemade chips.
My current favorite recipe are TexMex Potato Wedges. In my spice mix it works best this way: Wash the potatoes, cut with shell in columns, water, dry, moisten with olive oil evenly, sprinkle with the Mexican spice blend, mix, giving the wedges directly into the Actifry and cook 45 minutes.
My Conclusion:
In AH 9000 some things have been optimized for FZ 7000. For me, the higher loading, the protective ring around the cooking tray and the automatic shutdown at the end of cooking, the major innovations. Also interesting is the 2 + 1 Warranty extension of Tefal. When I compare the SE models would return the AH 9000 Buy (instead of FZ 7002), because you quite a bit more gets for currently below 25 euros extra.
