Customer Review

Hi Guys,

Today I want you by my experience of three top models of the top three
Electric shaver manufacturers report.
Many many reports later that I read on Amazon.com and Amazon.com,
I write here now also my own to you to help.

Only shortly to me:
I am 26 years old, my beard is not very dense, but the hair for it
very strong. Prpblemstellen have always been neck and chin (right / left).
My skin is very sensitive and wet shaving with a normal razor
and foam has my skin never really tolerated.
Two years ago I decided then to try an electric razor.
My choice was then on the Panasonic RF31, also known as People's razor.
I was always very happy with the equipment and have more or less me
daily or every two days shaved so that morning. After a year I have sword and knife
swapped without a major gain in performance. Now a year later, where again the
Shaving foil decency, I thought to myself: That was just an attempt at that time, now comes a time
right into the house. So I ordered the three "best" razor to compare these
and the best of them choose for me.

I tested all the razor just dry. I also did not use wet with the razor,
because I think somehow that this contradicts the sense of an electronic shaver ...

I'm going to talk about some specific categories here.

Appearance
"" "" "
Actually, the look is actually so much care, but I'm a fan of a
chic design.
The Pansonic as well as the Philips make a very futuristic impression on me,
what ligt at Panasonic at the very large shaving head, and rotating at the Philips on the three
Heads. The Philips would certainly can well serve as a measuring device in Star Trek.
The Brown looks just from the way you would imagine as borrow an electric razor.
The placement here can really only decide for themselves, but nevertheless:
1st place: Brown
2nd place: Philips
3rd place: Panasonic

Haptics
"" "" ""
The feel is more of important than the look.
The Panasonic and Philips are flatterer, by the round handle
and are ergonomically designed.
All devices are made of plastic (except for Brown, the holder of the shaving unit).
The brown is best balanced and makes its weight a quality
Impression. The rubber coating from Brown evaluates him clearly.
1st place: Brown
2nd place: Philips
3rd place: Panasonic

Transport
"" "" "" "" "
Braun delivers here with a stylish hard case leather case with zip.
Panasonic, a thin synthetic leather case with zip and a plastic protective cover for the shaving head.
In addition, you can lock your power button.
Philips provides only a plastic protective cover for the shaving head.
The advantage of Panasonic is that sufficient protection cover with the latch to the
To put razor in the trunk between the laundry. Nothing will serve up the device and get it
Also do not turn on by itself.
The brown cable is like a telephone cord, which I find very convenient when stowing.
When connecting the cleaning station which may also be a disadvantage.
The brown envelope makes the highest quality impression.
1st place: Panasonic
2nd place: Brown
3rd place: Philips

Charger cable / power supply
"" "" "" "" "" "" "" "" "" ""
This point I leave at the final evaluation sidelined because in my opinion, really
is unimportant.
Philips: Can I micht no longer remember it.
Brown: The brown cable is like a telephone cord and plug Angled, which I find very convenient when stowing.
When connecting the cleaning station which may also be a disadvantage.
The often mentioned whistling PSU I can not really confirm.
All power supplies have had a slight whistle when dranhängt with the ear, but what normally
No one would make. Philips and Panasonic were here louder than Brown.
Pansonic: I never liked the Panasonic terminal so real. It was always unsure of how the plug rum comes in
and he was always clean very stiff.
1st place: Brown
2nd place: Philips
3rd place: Panasonic

Manual cleaning
"" "" "" "" "" "" "" "" ""
All three devices can be cleaned under running water with soap.
If someone wants to have in no case a cleaning station, then he should
choose not to brown. The shaving head is installed and can be cleaned worse
than with the other two. In addition, he does not go so leichtgänig from like the Panasonic.
If Panasonic can be the foil separate from the blades and so completely rinse and clean.
With the "ultrasonic mode: Press for 2 seconds Power button) this should go even better.
When Philips can see the three shaving heads upwards and very rinse well.

2nd place: Philips

Clean with cleaning stations
"" "" "" "" "" "" "" "" "" "" "" "" "" "" "" ""
I find this very useful.
The main reason for me is the gleichzeitigt "oiling". I do not see myself once a week
with the little bottle of oil to razors and shaving foils oils. But this seems to be very important,
the performance of the shaving foils to maintain.
Brown: With a liquid container of shaving head is apparently sprayed and the shaver is
then automatically turned on and off in the station and so durchgespühlt.
I did not think that it works well, but hats off ... that thing looks after that both outside and inside
like new, as if you never use it.
Panasonic: Works similar, but has a cleaning concentrate which is mixed with water, which one
must fill in an extra tank. In addition, the station has a drying unit / blower.
I could not test the station because I had only ordered the razor without station.
What I find alarming at Panasonic, is that one has for weeks, will allow water in the station.
If that was not more of a trap for germs? Remedy could be distilled water.
Philips: Instead of a cartridge, the cleaning liquid fills one bottle into the station.
I have the station but not tested because of Philips with me already because of the performance
on the first day already declined.
To determine a winner in the Reinigungsstaion is not so easy.
When it comes to cost, gains and thereafter Panasonic Philips.
When it comes, it should be simple, then definitely brown.

Note the brown cleaning fluid:
According to some test reports, the alcohol contained therein is probably the paint from plastic
attack with time (after 1-2 years). This problem should have been resolved by now, according to Brown but.
That I do not really matter, because the 3-year warranty, I get either a complete
new shaver or a complete money back ... if the problem still exists, I can not say yet.
1st place: Brown
2nd place: Panasonic / Philips

Volume:
"" "" "" "" "" "
This is discussed quickly.
The clear winner here would be the Philips who is really extremely quiet.
Braun and Panasonic are about identical, but have a completely different tone.
The brown is a bit dull and the Panasonic is (think through the 14,000 vibrations)
of the frequency forth very high. Incidentally, the Panasonic my observation comes after
only the 14,000 vibrations because of the way was very shortened. 8-10mm be of the right and left
Shear knives not reached.
The Panasonic is but a bit loud and the noise is unlikely from the pitch in the morning by 5 clock
please everyone.
1st place: Philips
2nd place: Brown
3rd place: Panasonic

Display:
"" "" "" ""
Actually, not quite as important, but is indeed very marketed by the manufacturers ...
The Braun has an unlit (!) LCD display that displays only the charge and Hygiene by blocks and in the middle after 18 months
the head should be replaced. The display can be only in beleuchtetet around reading and lasts bounds.
When Panasonic has a blue backlit LCD display with lots of information, such as battery level in%, time shaving time,
a symbol indicating the two last possible shaves, a symbol that he should be cleaned, a symbol of the change of the shaving head
and a symbol indicative of the active ultrasonic cleaning. Thus, the display provides much more information than the brown.
The Philips display I have not engaged myself in more detail, but it lights up and seems like a lot of information such as the Panasonic display.
Disadvantage with Panasonic and Philips is that you have to turn on the shaver briefly to retrieve the charging status. In addition, the brown shows the necessary cleaning
closer look ... where this ad is negligible. Either you simply do it after every shave, or how about once a week or only when he
must also be charged.

2nd place: Philips
3rd place: Brown

Handling while shaving:
"" "" "" "" "" "" "" "" "" "" "" "
I can definitely say: How can anyone seriously voluntarily devices with these Philips shaving?
To make dry skin the circular movements, not missing a rhythm there and all points
to catch is a real challange. Who Herrausforderungen loves ... then a lot of fun :)
Although the Philips would be better in all, this would go already at this point in my back.
Commenting on the outcome of shaving, I'll be right, but vorwer already: In my opinion, worse than in the other two.
Panasonic and brown here provide a genuine shaving razor to race :)
The Pansonic head is extremely flexible on both axes and the Scherbläätter are again stored separately.
The head actually rotates always at the perfect angle to the skin.
At Brown, the head moves only in one direction and a bit heavier than normal.
But these are the three shaving heads Super soft suspension which is not the case with the Pansonic.
When Pansonic these are even sprung so hard and the spring travel is so low that not this suspension while shaving
is really noticeable.
the brown here adapts but then irgenwwie better and slides also at least twice as good on the skin.
The Panasonic can be so much more difficult to "push" through the skin. Of course also likely to 5 blades
and the resulting large friction surface lie.
The probem with the glide over the skin I had, incidentally, already with my old Panasonic.
When Brown is likely to go the better, because of the narrower head and the vibration and possibly an existing coating (?).

2nd place: Panasonic
3rd place: Philips

Shave
"" "" "" "" "" "" "
Philips: I got here only with a great deal of time, a very stubbly result. Wet This is possibly different,
but has not been tested by me. Handling and result is here an absolute knockout for Philips.

When brown hair are are 1-2 trains already gone and without you noticing it.
I think that's already very good. The same also applies to the Panasonic. In this you can hear properly
as he cuts the hair (that was my old and above). Whether this is a good or a bad
Character is ... no idea. I actually think the sharp knife and a clean cutting normally more
Should be quieter than audible. The play now but not really matter.
Felt is one ready a little faster with the Panasonic is the brown. But this also has twice as many shaving foils.
This means indeed actually, these are a train with the Panasonic = two trains with Brown.
Many say that they notice no difference in the results between the brown and the Panasonic.
But I must say, if you both directly compares (a shaved right, the other on the left), the Panasonic
apparently cut a little closer to the skin and is here the smoothness test against the grain of the Panasonic front.
This comparison I have made over several weeks and at the beginning of the Panasonic was always better than the brown.

But then came a reversal somehow ...
People tell me that has to get used to the skin until the shaver for optimal results.
My skin was accustomed to my old Panasonic, which looks very even from the head.
Why could ever vornge located at the beginning with me of Panasonic.
Anyway, the Brown really was suddenly then very much the same result and the speed.
On the neck, I found the brown but a bit more thoroughly.

What I find here is very important to mention:
The Panasonic caused significantly more skin irritation with me as the brown even though my skin
was already accustomed to the old Panasonic head. The what of Panasonic possibly a touch shorter cuts,
then pays off by a burning sensation on the skin that lasts most of the day. To this effect then
again to soften slightly, I also used during the trial period again aftershave, which I did not have otherwise.
The Panasonic will probably be extremely good with shaving cream. But that is not an option for me.

So let's summarize:
At the end of a barely noticeable difference in the thoroughness.
But for the Panasonic more irritation.
Philips is for me anyway out of the race.
Panasonic and Brown might actually share space, what I will do here, too.
If someone is looking for the razor, shaving the shortest, he will not be disappointed with the Panasonic.
This person should then have hypersensitive skin. Quite as bad irritation but then
neither.
1st place: Braun and Panasonic
3rd place: Philips

Conclusion:
"" "" ""
We expect times together ...
1st place: 3 points / 2nd place: 2 points / 3rd place: 1 points
In summary, the results:
1st place: Brown (21 points)
2nd place: Panasonic (19 points)
3rd place: Philips (16 points)

Really aussagekrüftig the points are not at the end.
The Philips is for me extremely further behind the Panasonic, although there were only 2 points, according to points.
This is because that seems to be better in many unimportant things of Philips, but it at the really
important points failed.
The Brown and Panasonic are in turn so close together that my selection sleepless nights and an annoyed
Friend and family einhandelte :)
And sure 100% I'm not still. When Brown reports on the paint resolution I have very deterred.
When Panasonic has abgechreckt me that I had one and this soon lost power.
Good at Brown I find the clear product range. Also, the Series 7 is made in Germany. Too bad I find the brown of P & G
or Delonghi was bought. Although production and development to remain in Germany, but we can think of all,
sooner or due to profit maximization, production will take place abroad later. Possibly not now and not in 5 years,
but in 10-20 years Brown "made in Germany" History should be. Well, Panasonic is now so (my old China and Japan the LV81).

You do with two devices (Panasonic and Brown) nothing wrong.
Anyone who wants to save money, which was to buy a no cleaning station. Saves money in the purchase, as well as in maintenance.
I find the stations but top and had the Panasonic also exchanged through the Set Station.
The shaver is not just cleaned, but just also supplied with oil, is kind to the shaving foils and receives.

My choice has fallen at the end of the Panasonic.
Currently get the brown as well as the Panasonic at Amazon full 5 stars. The Philips only 1-2 stars.
