this is my first review, please be considerate, I should digress;) ...
Why I've bought the PA279q?
- Would like to delve deeper into the image processing, which my previous skills are modest, but I'm looking for more than burning.
And I want to image processing by Photoshop and 3D computer graphics software (not stereo 3D) apply and make use of not only rid the "red-eye" in photos ...
- Since many of the final images are indeed meant to be used for screen applications, but should one or the other also determines the pressure to vote, should the monitor preferably both
cover,. according to my knowledge so far sRGB and Adobe RGB color space mainly for printing
- 27Zoll rather because I wanted to have a larger than the previous 24er for my taste (added the 24er version of Asus' s gives also)
- Occasional gamble should be possible, although I'm not a hardcore professional counterstriker and to my knowledge even as 6ms response should be enough, realize at least with current
shooting games or any other games like skyrim etc no difference to my 2ms screen before
- Price I'm eigtl sensitive mainly because I'd never "so much" money was invested in a monitor ... but at 27Zoll with the above ideas is a da
With
much less seemingly helped even less ...
- I have used in the last few weeks a lot of the Internet, in Prad and various other testers and many forums and reviews from users.
Am going very often the same models and companies met with seemingly always deliver the necessary quality ... but because there are so partially in 1500 upwards ... and that sometimes
you get the feeling you pay as possibly but the name, but I can not judge admittedly
The result was the Asus was always there and very good reviews got despite the price range to another of its territory, the design also liked and small accessories, but this is optional.
About calibrating the monitor I've little experience, but what one hears and reads does not seem to be underestimated, here a good factory calibration is specified. But will follow the advice of some users and test with a SpydrPro the calibration and change if necessary.
The reviews regarding light flicker, PWM, halos, etc. I once displaced because no matter what you look Monitor, ne more negative criticism is always there and often seem also object-related and not typical series. So test yourself:
Bought sooner said than done .... super easy construction, delivery as planned had (ok outside package ne Delle but the inner life was 100% intact and after the first turn on the monitor ... wow what a picture (see in my 24er 1920 FullHD standard Multimedia Monitor 2ms) ... a small Lichhof in the upper right corner about 2Stück size but not the speech ... in the pitch-black room is worth the deep black "light" ... but once you open a window or a picture or whatever wirkts again deep black. In my opinion, nothing to complain about after ... operation is quite easy to understand ... supplied software I have not yet installed.
Colors appear full and strong, and yes ... you can see at once on some images previously hidden details, which for some users but is of little importance I think.
As for gaming, I had briefly mentioned above, seems to me properly, but it was not my main concern when choosing
The comparison with other of his "class" I can not draw, only refer to reviews, if there is more. If so, I think is best for the time being personally helped me with the ASUS anyway :)
Oh, and a crack or buzzing or noise per se are ASUS certainly not perceive with my (unless the sound is to * cough * ...)
To have in any case really glad degree bought'm curious how he and the proven when it comes to the image creation and editing.
So, thank you very much and have the patience to read my little novel, maybe he could help one or the other so,
wish in any case a lot of fun on the device and hope my maintained * fg *
