For optimum illumination of course a sunny location to the integrated 900 mAh LiPo battery should be able to load.
Whether a battery charge now permanently illuminated 8 or 12 hours, is irrelevant in my eyes, as tackled by the built-in sensors, the LEDs only Dunklelheit and motion for about 30 seconds long.
The luminosity of LEDs I find perfect, whether as a guide in the garden, as lighting of bell or house number or front of the garage, -man has perfect light.
