In itself well if you have not a lot of clients in the network

Originally had the combination of one Linksys WRT160N router and a Linksys WMP600N network card in use. The router was in the cellar in the ground floor of the computer with the wireless card. Through the reinforced concrete ceiling managed this combination ~ 160mbit, so quite OK for the circumstances but not berrauschend.
In the first step I have exchanged the Linksys router to a TP-Link TL-WR1043ND and already climbed the Datenerate on ~ 210mbit. Finally, the Linksys card against a TP-Link TL-WN951N is still exchanged and now the transfer rate is at 300Mbps. And through a thick reinforced concrete floor!

PS: Now, after months of operation I have my Rezesion change anything unfortunately. As with many other routers previously, device has unfortunately also in this show that it does not run permanently stable. I have 3 computers on the LAN and 2 in the WLAN and it comes safely 1-2 times a week before that either adopt only the WLAN or all connections. Especially for many compounds the same time and / or high data flow. Obviously, most situated on the market today router in the consumer area are really useful only usable for "average consumer" with 1-2 computers in the network. If something more will increase the number of the things for. I have friends in 2 of these things in use where max. 2 clients on the network are running smoothly and there for months.

Annoying and I am now switched to a D-Link DIR-655. The running until then just as quickly, but much more stable.
