It would cost not much to put in the description that it is a USB 3.0 seen that it is written in big letters on the product pouch when it is received. So, this loads the iPad 1 if connected to a USB 3.0 port, but it does not charge with the original charger iPad 1 which is itself USB 2.0 ...

I bought this cable 3m precisely because I galérais with the original cable too short, and that good to me.
