I've bought the last Christmas money now after much back and forth, the 18-270mm and am thrilled genuine. Now that's a focal length range! Basically it covers almost all situations from occurring when photographing. I was in Berlin on the way and could really be part of all the time on the camera (by the way also not particularly large and heavy). In addition, the image stabilization is so good that I have up to 1 / 15s still attempt it when shooting indoors with my Canon EOS 1000D with 270mm sharp images. With the image quality I am very satisfied, only in the corners and at the edge of it appears in some focal lengths drop something, but I did not bother further, because my motives mostly anyway sit in the center and at the zoom range you have to probably go down a little compromise. All in all a nice part, that is sure to accompany me on all my future trips.
