Alternating from a Nokia Lumia 920 to HOX + I can only say I have no regrets.
One advance: As so often mentioned, the mobile OS is now simply a matter of taste, as well as the appearance of the device. Furthermore, everyone feels the feel of a device for differently.
I've been using the device now for over a week and feel ready to submit a review is written from my feeling and use of the device:
First Impression:
Packaging simple and elegant in white and can be recycled. Amazon Usual dispatch and packaging (as always great!). It was a charger (2 parts) and an in-ear headphones here. The device seemed at first glance very valuable and stable. The wizard for the creation was simply outstanding and immediately voted me positively to the device.
Feel / quality:
It fits comfortably in your hand and is also operated with one hand (for me). It is very stable, because my little son man has already managed to drop it the instrument of the couch on the tiles and nothing happened. I also is already 2 more times dropped on a hard surface. With me makes a smartphone so with what. By Unibodygehäuse and the grippy surface (which is quickly greasy) affects it very valuable and solid. No creaking, no noise, nothing. I have no shell, Bumper or screen overlay on the device. The display seems to me just do not want to get dirty, because I want to clean it while my glasses with a microfiber cloth, but can no grease marks etc but only discover dust. Have 85% in my jeans pocket and not with keys or the like. The volume button would have a little better (without looking back) position and can be made operable, but does not bother me so much. A camera shutter button would have been OK for me, but that's to complain at a high level.
Power:
At the performance, there is really nothing to complain about. So far, no slowing of the whole system felt, no stuttering, no redraws, no reboots, etc. Both in normal operation as well as in games (not too hardware-heavy games á la Plant vs Zombies, AODD, Naught and Hillclimb indulged). But what struck me: The unit is extremely hot least while playing, is for me just yet at the threshold of pain. Nevertheless fair to say, I had so far no device where no heat generation was playing.
Camera:
By touching the screen you can set the focus. It has a powerful flash and various (video) Aufnahmemodies. I am satisfied with the camera in any case and can not complain. Night shots or shooting in poor lighting conditions can be largely offset by the flashlight to the quality raise. With the Lumia 920 but can not compare them.
Battery:
In normal use (Bluetooth in use throughout the day to hands-free and listen to music on BT, play a little and surf, Wi-Fi and mobile data usage only when you need to, however, turned on Full Power, even at low battery capacity) I have the device about every day 1 time charge. During continuous play, you can after about 4 hours the battery reload. Battery performance is OK but not necessarily above average. What you knew before buying and me absolutely zero interest: You can not replace the battery, but honestly, after 2 years (if then the battery runs low) we establish a new, the other may not be the so see, the device would stop nothing for these people. I can not say anything because I charge the device every night next to me and during the day does not have to invite between on the charging time.
Functionality:
Who knows Android knows what it blooms. Here yet divorced the spirits. Personally, I love it with smartphones to experiment and try new things, so it was not prevented me to try all kinds of mobile OS (WP8, iOS, Android and Symbian), or even to tinker with them via custom ROM or Jailbreak.
Without large tinkering on Android OS is already very intense personally adjustable and therefore I like it also best. I've owned many androids and must say, the easiest is to use the HTC with Android and HTC Sense. Too bad you can not make as TouchWiz from Samsung Settings from the pulled down status bar such as Wi-Fi on or off etc. Nicely done is stopping the running background: press the right soft button Depending on the setting, simply short the open App pull and chop the program has ended. The menu in the phone book is super easy, so you have to press only figures to get to the desired contact. The e-mail program is enough for me as a non-business user completely out, here there is one of his "normal e-mail address" as well as for the Gmail address. The surfing is super out of hand, with two supplied browsers felt the same rate (Google Chrome and Internet browser v. HTC) About NFC in general and the Tetheringfunktion I can not say much. I can not say much because I only use AmazonMP3 players through the in-house Musikapp also. I posted previously determined no really big differences with this Audio Beats function, only a richer bass. I hear a lot of music and happy with this phone, but I would not describe myself as an "audiophile" and can detect any major flaw + on the music playback of HOX.
Offtopic to functionality:
For the technophile people it has through the open bootloader many more possibilities of change in design, etc. to such. Connectivity and voice quality:
Bluetooth is working properly, send files and (automatic) Connect to handsfree devices.
Wi-Fi signal is awesome, goes with me through by 2 concrete ceilings and only 1 bar loss. Am with Vodafone and have a Easybox 803A. Despite grade times a 6000er line and this situation very fast.
The wireless coverage is not to be despised ('m telecom users and am mainly in the rural area of the Wine Route in the Pfalz, working in a major city). Clear in a hospital or lift it's over. Generally, I would say it is mainly at the network with which you are surfing / texting / phone and where you are. I have certainly nothing to complain.
However, what bothers me is that HTC is not between HSDPA and HSDPA Plus (ie surfing with 21.6 Mbits) is different. As speed thus appears at the top next to the power reception just an "H". Did this only found out because I say about Google and write a single forum in English have discovered where the problem has been addressed (perhaps wanted wrong?). Nevertheless, there is no performance penalty for Telekom users with the speed option. This is particularly noticeable when you buy z. B. on AmazonMP3 music and you see the MBs only flutschen so. The voice quality is clear and clear in my opinion loud enough. Only through speakers the volume could be a bit higher calm which I have not yet loud enough easy. About hands-free voice quality is again excellent. What annoys me is cracking before dialing a number, very unpleasant to the ear. Probably appears to be only a problem of HTC in conjunction with a telecom Sim. A user in the forum said that this problem could be solved with a piece of tape on the back of the SIM card, as well the contact of the SIM with the contacts from HTC not completely seated and the tension is not given. Conclusion:
Not to otherwise has the HOX + such a high 5-star rate. I can each of looking for a new smartphone, this device is highly recommended with good faith. Due to its many positive qualities, it eradicates from my critiques and provides the Lumia 920 in the shade.

EDIT: In my dust grains in the speaker holes in it, I did not get the easy out :-( does have a disadvantage in terms of volume of the interlocutor, but does not visually beautiful.
