Well, finally there is clarity about the long-promised "new" DCD album. It is - once again - a Best Of the two gifted Australians, and certainly a very comprehensive. A reunion of the duo would have been really good to be true. Whether the world or the fan base is thus actually immensely enriched, is dahimgestellt once. About the high musical quality of the pieces you need to say no more secure. And so can this double glazing certainly recommend it to anyone who does not already have a complete collection of the previous albums, especially probably all those who with a first contact with DCDs ogling music. On the other hand, I personally not very much of it, from bands to throw in year intervals ever new Best Of albums on the market, definitely produce anything new. Why only three stars. Much more interesting is it yet to pursue the development of Lisa Gerrard solo and Brendan Perry, there you can finally count on genuine new releases.
