I notice the Eneloop as AA and AAA already in use for years and still can not fault. Even Extra Photo batteries from Ansmann have rather given up the ghost. The supplied AA were now after the first unloading 1400-1600 mA. The extent to which capacity has increased after the first recharge, I can not say.
