First, to meet Jean-Philippe_88 and that this be clear: the contrast / dynamic backlight is NOT mandatory !! It can be disabled in the menu. Only Samsung LED TV (EU models) suffer from this problem to my attention.
The TV is very contrasted and bright settings defaults are good (a little too saturated, perhaps, but it is adjusted by three shots ladle via the easy to use menu), the various entrances do their job.
The black level is good, see good cinema setting, but especially by ironing by chance on my old LCD I've seen the difference (in a good way!). The black of this TV is really good, and very equal on the surface. The horizontal viewing angles are good, a little less vertical I feel. It's still watchable in all normal conditions however.
The sound is okay, but far from excellent (it really can not compare to external speakers), a bit "deaf" by default.
Tested with different sources (PC, freebox (HDMI / SCART) socket antenna for DTT HD ...), no problems encountered.
The mounting (foot) requires a Phillips screwdriver against.
The remote control is good, despite its plastic buttons that give no confidence. :)
I have not yet tested the firmware updates.
Amazon promises to "Input Video Formats 480p, 720p, 1080i, 480i, 576i, 576p," so I was a little afraid that 1080p (1920x1080 resolution) is not recognized as the input format, but the 'is. And fortunately so, it's still the native format of the slab!
The design I like very much, very sober and simple. Indeed very prone to fingerprints though; like almost all black lacquered surfaces / bright. The panel itself is matte, but prone to reflections in severe lighting (in a sunny window, etc).
Some minor drawbacks though, history. First, no cables (except power) comes with the TV, not even a small HDMI cable ... For the price, it's stingy limit.
Next, among the 3 HDMI inputs, one is advertised as "HDMI / DVI" and displays correctly since 1920x1080 DVI input converted to HDMI. The other entries are problematic with DVI converters -> HDMI. In case you want to connect multiple devices to DVI, it will be a problem (it must be a very rare scenario, but as much prevention).
A very good product on the whole, particularly given its low price compared to other 32 "full HD.
Edit: following a water damage in my apartment, it rained on the TV (which was fortunately disconnected). After drying, everything works perfectly. Good point!
