-1 Star deduction I give because of the quality of the external DVD-Case. This is not quite OK, with me, the plastic lids are slightly arched when the DVD drive is installed, thereby the included Aperture no longer fits, without DVD drive fits this exactly. This is the close of the drawer a little cumbersome and associated with slight effort. But the function is working and I can live with it. Of the 3 screws for fixing fit for me only 2 since the 3 rightmost hole half a millimeter is different, firmly but still.
The internal Case for hard drive in my opinion is 5 star value. The workmanship is good and fits perfectly into the drive-shaft of my notebook. Furthermore, the hard drive is stable and firmly in Case without wobble or vibration during operation (applies only HDDs).
A manual is not really there (not really necessary) so my title for connoisseurs and hobbyists.
Reason: The use of the drives in the internal and external Case DVD Case is still the easiest. The installation in the notebook, however, can be very complicated in some models but. I have to remove an Acer Aspire V5-571PG and Felt 30 screws, covers several (eg, keyboard) and cables up I ever rankomme to the drive. Then old HDD replaced by SSD, HDD obstruct the internal Case, etc. So can still be very difficult for inexperienced or ignorant.
Here I can recommend to anyone YouTube with video instruction !!!
There is a guide for almost all models the slightly heavier upgrade are available for Mac and Co. at the this set also comes.
The price is for an Ultra-Slim Set (9.5 mm) Top!
Would I recommend it? Yes
PS I tried to take pictures but you can not recognize this simple curvature, the aperture obscured everything and I did not settle before the panel and to risk breaking off the plastic pins like the visor from the notebook. (Since only adornment is double tape used ^^)
