Born from the meeting of Penelope [s] and Morpheus, this album is not a success. There is no real synergy and quite obviously we feel the influence of two distinct sensibilities. This is unfortunate but there is still some good things and some may be happy to find titles corresponding to their favorite artist. The spectrum of the deceased Minimal Compact is quite present through a recovery (Statik dancin '- unfortunately disappointing, a dance version, which appears negation of the message and spirit of the time), an unused demo the time (Do not loose it - probably time Raging Souls, we understand that they have not used, but it's true that it's not my favorite time) and even towards Malka Spigel (Saved). The real success of this album is in my opinion the haunting "Rainbow on the pavement 'and the instrumental' Joey Santiago." Hard to find a reference to the Pixies in the latter. A heavy bass, staccato guitar (Minimal Compact all very good years) and electronic sounds Penelope [s] gives a set sugar and salt for best effect. Rainbow is sad to perfection, beautiful in its simplicity. Finally, the good news is that this album does not contain 10 tracks but 12. Following Rainbow (without long particularly nasty white) arise 4: 47 and Stains. Both titles are very nice and allow to finish by saying "um, not so bad this CD ..."
