The picture is too grainy / noise to my taste especially in low light / indoor (high ISO). In short I much prefer my Canon S95 has passed away, but it is true that the latter benefited from a larger sensor (electronics not everything).

However this SX700 HS offers a very good grip, very fast / reagent (autofocus ..) and the 30x zoom is stunning and very stable. Overall certainly more versatile than the S95 (and its successors S100 / S10 / S120) but can match the image quality of the latter (and did not pretend that matter).
