Speedport W 920 V from T-Home

anticipate, I have the Speedport received a few days ago and installed easily and everything works properly.

Internet Access:

The Speedport W920V succeeds from the W701V, both products of "AVM GmbH".
(For some manufactured by AVM speed ports there is the possibility,
to install with the help of a speed2fritz AVM firmware instead of the original T-Home / T-Com firmware.)

When the product arrived with me, I have it yet unpacked and losgelegt. The clear description in the Step by Step
explains what to do, is very helpful.
There are two connection descriptions, an order for the normal use without ISDN system and one for use.
After connecting all the cables, and finally the power cord, it is, the Speedport would configure itself and the Internet
set up automatically.
However, since it did not work out, I went to the configuration menu, where I configured everything quickly & easily.
For people who are not familiar there so, there is a step-by-step guide in which everything is explained in detail.

In addition, I've logged a cordless DECT telephone which posed no problem with the Speedport W920V because
it has recognized the phone without problems.
The range is 50 meters indoors and 300 meters outdoors.

The Speedport W701V now serves as a wireless repeater, since the transmission power at the W920V not really better than how the W701V.
But by the configuration as a repeater, which was also within a few minutes, I now have full reception signal.

In conclusion I would say that the Speedport W920V is easy to configure and fulfilled all his purposes without any problems,
It is quick to set up and equipped with many features (WPS, DECT, etc.) for the future.

However, I would not buy the Speedport the Internet for 170 uro,
but as I go into a T-Home Store (or T-Home Online Shop), and there a
Complete router Treaty.
So the router month costs 3.95 uro and these price decreases steadily.
The price decreases depending on usage time up to 80%.
There is no minimum contract period and you may terminate this Agreement at any time denounce (lasts 6 days).
Should it happen that the router is broken, even after two years, there is now a free replacement.

This contract is inexpensive and so you get a good service and a good router at a low price.
