The player itself needs at a BlueRay (Avatar) but some time to read this. Here, the player also creates some noise. After that there was nothing to hear (because no fan).
In 2 DVD's of players unusually long sounds that were so not listen to a DVD player produced. But since I'm rather out of problems through the DVD's themselves.
The image is reproduced with me on a projector (HDMI). Just Avatar shows here as brilliant may be the representation. I have now seen several BlueRays and DVD's; the image quality was there impressive.
As some commentators the question arose:
Yes, it appears the current time and the remaining time. Furthermore, one can on the Tools button on any point in the movie, jumping by entering the entsprechenen time.
Now to the two points that are in my opinion not quite succeeded:
1) Internet @ TV is a nice try the Internet on the TV screen (or to bring Beamer). More but not yet. A browser is still missing (or I do not find him). The videos of Youtube can not be represented in the best resolution. And if you absolutely need the weather or other "apps" from Samsung, has to decide the individual.
2) DLNA and MKV / VOB
I do not understand here the approach of Samsung! MKV files work fine via USB hard drive. VOB files are not. I call the VOB files to MPG on, then he knows the file.
MKV files via DLNA be displayed, but produce the error "unknown file format". VOB files via DLNA play without a problem.
I've tasted it on Win7 with the standard functions of the operating system and with Serviio as a DLNA server. Perhaps here knows yet a solution.
Also, the coil is not as mature and requires further improvement.
Conclusion:
A successful BlueRay player with many features, a great image (with the appropriate output device) and a favorable price.
If even the support of the formats will be equalized, then there is in my view nothing to criticize.
Strong buy recommendation!
