After I use for both a Canon as well as Sony cameras and secondly the Type same flash as Sony Alpha version costs more than 20 euros more, I ordered the center contact version.
For this it was a Sony / Minolta adapter (eg here: Hot Shoe Adapter Flash Adapter for Sony Minolta FS-1100 - additional review there.).
Connected - Works - have now while still saving a universal flash for Canon & Sony and money. Wobbly construction is not, but what is more to the adapter.
The YN-560 II is of course a manual flash. That means you have to adjust everything yourself really. Flash intensity, synchronization to the camera, zoom (24-105). For quick snapshot of lightning is sometimes definitely nix. But it's enough for me and the internal camera flash (possibly with diffuser).
I've tried 'him:
Canon SX-1, Sony A55 (+ adapter), Sony A350 (+ adapter). Of course, the displays show (how is that actually used by the Sony flashes) does not indicate how the picture would look with the flash (flash must the adapter to "M" manual available). But if you know how to have set a flash and thus possibly also likes to experiment a little, then one is anyway egal.Manchmal is a flash image too bright, too - is at least as me - and that's why I take pictures in everyday life also like without flash.
Among the features per se, I say talk nothing that other reviewers have already done enough.
Yes, the processing is (let's see if it in half a year still so is) for the price sensational. Yes, the photocell for the slave operation is phenomenal. The charging time is shockingly fast. This thing is really bright, when you want it. If it still a similar flash with ADI or TTL - would support and corresponding thereto for automatic give around 150 Euros, I'd buy the almost certainly also of Yongnou.
The diffuser is perhaps something fitzelig and the pedestal is "full plastic (incl. Thread), but somewhere you have to probably save on the price. This is the packaging sleeve very good.
Conclusion: For the price and if you consciously take the "limitations" in purchasing, there is currently nothing like it at times at all Speedlights. Strong buy recommendation.
