Actually super device, were it not for quality problems (long-term review)

The problem with the lid seems fixed now, the exchanged in January lid is still without tears!

The unit I call now nearly two years my own. In Tefal it seems in some ways like French vehicles to be:

Ideas well, execution poor.

In the now almost 2 years following went faulty:

-2x Cover torn
-1x For repair, control malfunction, plastic thereby partially melted (3 weeks repair)
Canceled -1x handle

The device is ansich treated very carefully and cleaned by hand ...

The Actifry is unfortunately mainly marketed as healthy fries fryer, meanwhile, the unit far from over.

But still short a preface to all The ones who seek only an alternative to conventional fryer & fries combination, while enjoying the taste:

NO taste, the fries from the Actifry, whether frozen goods or not freshly prepared as from the fryer, so do not be with the fat sponges from the chip shop / fryer
around the corner comparable, as well as, fat is a flavor carrier and the Actifry avoids fat as much as possible.

In my opinion, the Actifry deep fryer is not, but rather an Express hot air oven.
If you remove the agitator (At the Family variant this goes smoothly), you can cook almost anything in it, here is a small excerpt:

One can almost everything is cooked in a pan or oven for even the Actifry make. A big advantage, because you look at the annoying cleaning saves because only the Actifry is clean,
not the kitchen tiles etc ...

The device is as loud as a hair dryer in about, the power consumption (measured) 1100-1280W.
The hot air circulates in the device, there is no exhaust filter available, ie one lessons very well what you have just prepared.

All removable parts are dishwasher safe. Purification of the remaining equipment is quick and easy. Only the removable plastic ring at the pan seems a bit unstable.

I am using the device more than satisfied. Ingredients Filling, start timer. Done.
