The device is put simply a plastic bomber! Ansich not really a problem, however, the plastic / plastic used is processed as thin or it feels like that the laptop flexes while typing on an uneven surface! When you lift the device with one hand up, crunches and creaks it. Also the screen should not be opened with only one hand you. They truly feel uneasy, if you do it yet.
The same applies to the keyboard. The can also "turn". What is a shame, because actually it is quite good for typing. And the backlight is anyway a dream!
Second flaw in my opinion is the battery. Yes, the device is very light, but unfortunately, this also means that the battery must be very small. Who wants to buy the equipment mainly for the road, which I have actually already advise. After all, the battery life is underwhelming (4 hours has been the ultimate expression of feelings) and to the delicate case - there needs a steel laptop bag, so you can go on trips reassured. :)
This really is extremely unfortunate. Because technically, the device is simply great!
The screen is great, multitouch and Windows 8.1 are doing here really a lot of fun, the trackpad -Also multitouch capable also enjoy and if it bothers times while typing, it can be deactivated by pressing a button simply. (Very convenient!)
The i5 Haswell is sufficient for most applications completely out, and thanks to the SSD launches Windows in 3 seconds!
The backlit keyboard is also extremely pleasant and can be adjusted in three steps in brightness. The built-in speakers, however, are ridiculous. But but the Headphone output has been very good. I am using an AKG K141 MK2 Studiokopfhöhrer who needs a very strong amplifier. An iPhone 4S for example brings these headphones not even smile. The built-in amplifier, however, Lenovo provides enough performance so that if possible carefully gas are at the volume control.
The sound quality I find amazingly good.
Drive, this model, although none, but strangely there is (15 "version!) A drive bay on the right side. This leads to the assumption that one the FLEX2 15" could perhaps still with a DVD drive to equip, or better yet could, equip it with a second SSD drive. But this is just a guess on my part. Will the check a closer in the next few days.
My Conclusion:
Laptop tips, but unfortunately poorly packed! Maybe I'll do the housing so wrong, and the plastic is stronger than he feels? I would not bet on it.
I'll keep him but because he has just too many features that so far I could not find any other manufacturer for that price. In short, I have the perfect laptop found. And since it is used rather steady with me, bothers me forth with the material used for the housing only by the feel and the battery power is also relatively not care.
