Good headphones, but not without weaknesses!

Before I go into detail, I would like to just give a rough time rating of headphones that I have tested over the weekend times, and I do not illuminate all aspects, but only those who are important to me. (Can not say, for example, for voice quality when making calls: received only a short telephone call and me is nothing special noticed)

Appearance: 5/5 Simple and elegant, I like it.
Comfort 4.5 / 5 could be a bit bigger, but generally very good: she had yesterday for ~ 13 hours.
Battery: 4/5 Did it not take a chance on it really, but after 14 hours the lamp has been illuminated.
Sound: 3/5 Very bass-heavy, but not powerful.

Well, if one takes Bluetooth headset into consideration, you should know that for transmitting the signal generally arises transcoding, resulting in quality loss and latency, and thus the playback quality also greatly depends on the codec used, which is why I and the transmitter which of them support codec also mention below.

The 10RBT has 3 adjustable modes that determine which codec is used in the transmission:
Priority on sound quality: AAC or aptX if supported by the transmitter, otherwise SBC (High Quality)
Standart: SBC (High Quality)
Priority on stable connection: SBC lower bit rate

The default is the standard mode. I advise you to immediately after unpacking the fashion on "quality" switch as long as it does not lead to dropouts, because one can, at aptX-capable station, enjoy a better quality.

Above all: My last Bluetooth headset I had several years ago, and I was very surprised that even with SBC (hq), the audio quality is very close to the cable. In the edition of popular smartphones is the difference really negligible, especially when you're on the go using the headphones and constantly surrounded by ambient noise.

But we come to the most important, the sound:

As a sound reference I use:
Klipsch Image S4 in-ear headphones black / chrome 58
Beyerdynamic DT-770 Pro studio headphones 250Ohm Incl. 3m coiled cable with 3.5 mm connector and screw-on adapter to 6.3 mm stereo jack / Frequency response: 5-35000 Hz 159

I say it directly, I classify them by the sound ungefair to the level of Klipsch, and sometimes even underneath. Anyone familiar with the flat, clean and clear sound of studio headphones, is packaging these headphones directly again and send them back want. They are very bass-heavy, but not in a good way. The basses are loud but not really punchy. The centers listening rather "hollow" to cover for my taste too strong. That sounds fantastic in Dubstep and general. Electronic music, but rock, metal etc thus sounds rather strange.

Well, I've actually packed in the box after the first pre-listening again and wanted to send them back. But then I thought you give them mal ne chance. So I have time over the weekend only used this, and so you get used to the sound. And now they sound really quite good - as long as I keep my hands from Beyerdynamic.

They are more comfortable than the in-ears and more portable than the Beyerdynamic.

Let's talk about specific cases:
PC -> cable -> 10RBT
Who buys already Bluetooth headphones to listen to them with cables? I Na, for example, if they could keep up because the Beyer Dynamics, I would have sold and Sony would use to make music. In wired mode, the headset will behave as I have described above.

PC -> Sennheiser BTD 500 USB Network Adapter (Bluetooth 3.0) -> 10RBT
The Sennheiser BTD 500 support aptX, its lamp using aptX in conjunction with the 10RBT lit purple which just signaled. Sound-wise there is no difference that I could see for wired operation - but there is a small latency. This is to remember, but not dramatically. So you can easily Watching movies and games without the effect sound and image asynchronously. It makes PC games on a television from the couch into an experience for the ears, which is currently the main reason why I want to keep the headphones in spite of my ill-falling sounds.

Galaxy S2 -> 10RBT
The Galaxy S2 does not support aptX, and since I have installed CM, not even the Samsung Bluetooth stack is used, but precisely what people have written behind CyanogenMod. It is therefore used with SBC (hopefully) ~ 320kbps / s, and I must say it sounds good. The sound sounds less clear on, especially in the mids and highs, but go with ambient noise, it is justifiable. The latency on the other hand is now very clear, games can thus not really - and even video effect before asynchronously. (+ Another problem: WiFi and Bluetooth here get along apparently not so good, but is hopefully to Cyanogonmod)

Nexus 7 (2013) -> 10RBT
Here I have the operating system not changed, the Nexus 7 is in the state in which Google has it sent to me. Here applies exactly the same as the S2.

This lets us conclude:
The 10RBT is a good pair of headphones, but with weaknesses in sound. Who can get used to the sound, you'll love the headphones. As for the aspect of the Bluetooth headset, as you should not worry too much - the loss of quality is absolutely acceptable in favor of comfort, and if you have aptX enabled transmitter (eg Galaxy S3 and successors), there is almost no losses.

EDIT: I could not make friends with the sound character, have the headphones now but sent back.
