I currently have 2 this dimmer in my application. In one case a dimmable 230VAC / 6W LEDON LED (LED lamp dimmable 6W E27 A60) is it operated, in the other case a dimmable 12V LED from Paulmann in conjunction with a wound (passive) transformer.

As to the dimmer has an additional option (potentiometer) set the dimming range (minimum brightness), it is very well adapted to the respective lamps. In dimmed mode, the humming noise of the dimmer are so minimal that they are hardly noticeable. In the non-dimmed state can not hear anything.
I am very satisfied with this product.
