They are used (thanks to 10-Pack) in the hallway and in the bathroom, especially the light impression in the two areas is very different. In the hallway / stairwell the whiter light falls not so much on what is also due to the one there not so long staying, like in the bathroom. The light effect there was of course a completely different and also noticed more, that the bulbs but much whiter light than the original placement. Therefore, I simply do not laugh now, some dyed with a yellow felt-tip pen the range of 4 small reflectors in each light source and the result is a bit more pleasant. Since the lamps seem a bit brighter, do not have such large self-heating, I hope that my sharpie method keeps a longer time.
Addendum: Not the misunderstandings, I have the cover glass dyed something not the reflectors inside the lamps have not been opened.
The lamps were working with me at the first attempt, without the problems already described herein as flickering or (own) color cast. But that will be shown in the longer useful life if the transformers sometime but show problems. The initial configurations were each 4x35er Philips because the "jump" from 140W to 20W down is negligible not so. The Trafo`s seem that well so far to participate even if the lights have now been a few years under their belts. But when it ahead for us problems there, I will supply later this.
So recommended genuine, would revert to these bulbs.
Even for the simple reason to at the annual final settlement of electricity providers,
not immediately get the cursing.
Update 1/22/2015:
So the bulbs are now since create the review (9/25/14) during operation without previous disorders. To date, I can report no problems, flicker read in LED bulbs indications, or similar color deviations within a delivery (set of 10) or failure of Radio I can with my copies not notice or have not yet made its appearance. Some shifts have already been applied to the lamps (in the bathroom certainly already far more than 1200 times). So I can thank my copies so far no complaints.
