What really at the part annoying, is that the door to a combined washer-dryer program does not open forever. It is then for several minutes before the device and waiting until finally the door opens. Also is not in the operating instructions. Two technicians of different service companies were then there because LG has no subsidiary in Germany. The first meant the door would open at least after 30-60 sec and has replaced a sensor. Then the same problem again. The next technician said it would be normal that the door would remain closed as long and is taken off empty-handed again. At the LG phone I was told that you had to wait after drying until the cooldown process is fully completed, which is utter nonsense, because the manual says can last up to four hours in addition. Then you would use the 5-hour Laundry drying on 9h wait. So the service is also a disaster. What additionally annoying is that you can not select a specific drying program or options in the combined wash-dry. Then there is only "dry" without any further choice. The first technician said the device is very reliable, but there is a built-in lint filter, the one must extend to at least 4 years and it disassemble the entire machine.
Amazon has now proposed to provide a replacement device. At least Amazon as always very accommodating. I just hope that the new device opens the door faster.
Addendum: the new device opens the door a little earlier still felt after 90 sec quite long if you have to wait in front of the machine in the basement..
