Property me then for the first time following 4 polarizing filters with 77 mm ordered (Sort by Price):
- B + W MRC Nano KSM, XS-Pro Digital
- Rodenstock circular polarizing filter per
- Marumi Super DHG Pol
- Hoya Cirk. Pro1 Digital
Now have all the filters tested in the handling and in pictures the colors compared and also the extent to which I have a television running completely dark get (when recording still image). The loss of light was all filters above on a Level.
Best has me here now actually the Hoya Cirk. Pro1 Digital fallen! Then equal to the B + W. Rodenstock least, Marumi was fine but hung the former despite everything after. Especially color there was in fact differences, and not only small! The Fersehbild have only the B + W Hoya and get completely black, Marumi not entirely at Rodenstock was missing an entire piece.
The processing was the B + W course all sublime and better than the Hoya who does not read rotate constant supple, but why pay almost double, when I look at the performance of Hoya as better, it can be just not as easy to turn? !
So for me was actually the decision on the Hoya Cirk. However Pro1 like, then I noticed that the front was not grooved. What me when the polarizing filter rotate when the GELI was placed prepared strong problems.
Then I have the Hoya HD Pol Cir. considered, this has the ribbing. This then also ordered.
And now I am absolutely thrilled! The colors as in Cirk. Pro1 Digital, so just great! The ribbing allows me to rotate the polarizing filter without me by constantly tapping him into the glass dirty even with an attached Geli super! The case also like it even better, the filter is bombproof.
Furthermore, I lose through the Hoya HD 1/3 less glare levels than in Cirk. Pro 1 and therefore less than B + W, Rodenstock and Marumi!
The Hoya HD Pol is more favorable from the processing on a par with the B + W, however, 40%! Great!
Am absolutely thrilled by the Hoya HD Pol Cir! Super processing, can be turn supple! Beautiful Colours! Less loss of light! May issue for this filter absolute buy recommendation! Therefore, 5 *****
For me, this hymn of praise is a little excessive to B + W (the only useful filter bla bla), there are also other manufacturers for less money really great filters that a B + W in no way inferior.
Still to mention, of course, also has a front filter threads! Also the thread for screwing is worked super, is very easy by hand (but that gives me in any of the above-mentioned filter problems).
What I had not compared to how much Lensflares occur in all filters.
Addendum:
War now for 4 weeks in the south on vacation while I with the Hoya photographed, was a friend with a B + W on the road. Landscapes like this have to say that I feel better like photos from the sea incl. Water course with the B + W, Hoya me with the better. Feels like the B + W has a slight blue and the Hoya a slight greenish tint.
